You write about her: screaming she's all you want, and I sit on the steps watching you belt your heart out.
I wish you'd see how well I'd cherish you. How badly I want to protect you and your heart from every bad feeling you could ever possibly feel.
I look down at my journal.
All my words and thoughts just for you.
I write about you whispering how much I love you, offering you the world however I can, and you run around the field crying out lyrics of pain.
