Sonic sneered but still confused. "Anyways I heard it from some guy in a hood when I was on the bus to return to fable city the day after the last victim." He crossed his arms. "If he was wearing a hood how could you tell it was a man?" "Easy the deep voice and before you say women can have deep voices he wreaked of polo cologne and whiskey. Besides his hands were hairy when he sketched this. I stole it from him when he appeared to be asleep. Thought I could get a tattoo of it but my artist is still out of town." He said and placed the folded paper across the table. I opened it and pulled out the picture of shadow and Luigi's brother it was the same mark. "It's kinda funny that I see a symbol like that similar to the background of the stripper joint." He said. "What's the place called?" "Lucky siren" he said. I gather up everything and head to the door. "So am I fr—" "you will stay here until I get back confirming your story." I said and walked out. "Sir you can't..." "I'm not risking it tails so far he's all I got and I got quite a bit of information. I just need a little more." I said and he nods. "I'll stay guard." He said and I thanked him before leaving.
Tails pats the side of his legs looking around the now empty office. Suddenly a aura surrounds him. His eyes get hazy and he felt light. "Release me hood" Sonic's voice rang. Tails walks mindlessly to the locked interrogation room and slides the key card. He opens the door and Sonic smiled walking out. "Thank you hood now then you will forget what happened" he said. "Yes master....." "Good boy now what is the detectives name?" "Knuckles master....." "Knuckles hmmmm fitting name~ tell knuckles when he returns that I can't wait to meet again." "Yes master..." Tails said and sonic smirked. He walks to the elevator and got in. He snaps releasing tails from his trace as the doors closed. "What the.... Oh shit..... knuckles is going to kill me...." Tails said seeing sonic was gone.
Sonic smiled walking out of the building and into the night with his eyes glowing a light green.
