I tossed my keys into the bowl and plop face first into the couch. I screamed out my frustrations into the pillow before sitting up. I started to think about how this illegal shifting fizz could play a part. Then I remembered what Dax said and realized that I will need to talk to the wicked witch of the west. I got up and bolted back to my car driving back to the factory. Luckily for me she was there and just got out of her car. "Excuse me ma'am!" I said and she seemed startled. "What do you want detective? Come to arrest me for my illegal activities?" She said. "No I'm here to ask you about the person you sold this to five years ago." I hold up the bag with the vile and saw her gold eyes spark. "Very well but let me buy you a drink at pixies handsome~" she purred and I reluctantly followed her.
The place was pack from what I could see and the bodyguard scans faces. He scanned the witches face and was let in. He scanned mine and raised a brow. The witch leaned to his ear and he nods letting me in. "What did you tell him?" "That you know what we are this is a fables club No normies are typically allowed but since you're a special case you are." She smiled and I followed her to a VIP room. While watching I saw people partying in their true forms. I couldn't believe it. We entered the room and I sat down on the fancy couch. She sat across from me and two drinks appeared on the table. "Umm" "The table is magic so it senses what your drink taste buds" she said. "Oh interesting I like it." I said and she sips on her drink. "So ummm your a lot.... Nicer than I expected." I said. "Well yeah after being melted does that to you. But I can be a bitch too" she smirked taking another sip. "Well umm could you tell me anything about this?" I pulled out the vile. "Yep just give me a moment" she said and her hand glows levitating the vile. "What are you doing?" I said a bit worried. "Scanning the vile if I filled it my aura should glow.... And it's not so I didn't fill this but someone else did." She said and puts the vile back down. "How are you so sure?" "Even after five years when this was used my aura marks last forever call it a liability." She said and I looked down. "Look knuckles I know you want to solve this case because it connects to your late fiancé and other citizens but you need to rest." She said and I looked up at her. "You know—" "I'm a witch I figure things out. Like how I knew you were in my factory but you weren't going to arrest me you wanted to find out more of the vile." She smiled. "Oh and another thing I know who did fill this so you can go talk to him when he returns in a few days. His name is blue beard Hooks cousin." "What? Does he—" "No hook and red beard wanted nothing to do with their cousins Blue and Black beard.... Of course as you know red is dead...." She looks down and I nodded. "I wish I could help more but I'm serious about you resting. This case is taking a toll on you Knuckles." She said crossing her legs. "I can't stop" "Yes you will knuckles as mayor I ordered it" I turn and see mayor white there in a club like dress. "But ms white I—" "That's an order detective" she said sternly and I sighed. "Yes ma'am" I sighed. "Good now then let's get rid of this blazer." The witch snapped and my blazer was gone. I watch her unbuttoned a few buttons showing a little bit of my chest, my hair was taken out of the bun I had it in, and my shirt was untucked. "There much better" she smiled and mayor white nodded agreeing. "Really?" I said and they nod. I get up and head down to the crowded room covered in dim seductive color lights, music blaring, and now eyes on me as I snaked my way to the bar. "Well well you found me my sexy detective~" I groan and turn seeing Sonic. "So you gonna arrest me?~" he smiled and held his wrist out. "You got lucky the mayor just forced me to have a few days off." I snapped and walked to the bar. "Hey let me buy you a drink?" He said leaning back on the bar. "No" I said. "Come on I saved your life please?~" he said. "No" "Tell you what I got names of actual drug dealers who are normies plus their location you can handle once you're off. I got the lost right here but I'll only give it to you if you let me buy you a drink~" he smiled holding up a piece of paper where I see names. One I actually recognize because he was wanted in station square too. "Why?" "One of them pissed me off so pay pack~" he smiled and I sighed.
