Author's Pov

"Did you notice anyone around the college campus being suspicious or anything? Any sort of trouble?"

5 am in the morning. Robin had just taken a shower after his early morning intensive workout which is more like a warm up to him. With the water droplets trickling down his dark hair strands, he pulled a crisp black button up shirt over his shoulders.

"No, Sir! I have not noticed anything suspicious yet. But I am always alert you don't need to worry."

The voice came out from his phone. It was on speaker and placed on the mattress of his bed. When he was done putting on his clothes, he picked up the phone and held it next to his ear.
He was on a phone call with the bodyguard he had appointed for Krisha, because Tarini had asked him too. He was a newbie and Robin was not ever going to put anyone's safety at stake. So, he was skeptical about this man.

"Of course. I don't need to worry. It is you who needs to be worried because even if a dust particle dares to come close to her... I will kill you and I wouldn't think twice before doing so. Be alert!"

He turned to his balcony and stared right ahead of him. The sun was about to rise and about to make the beginning of a bright day known to the world. His eyes shone with fearlessness and protectiveness. These feelings have always had their resident in him.

[Tarini's dress but in light blue]

On the other hand, Tarini too woke up early. It was a big day for her so she was immersed in preparing for it with pure devotion in her heart. She was in the kitchen cooking Prasad, dressed up in a baby blue suit. Her hair tied up in a bun and head covered with her dupatta. She has always seen her mother preparing Prasad with her head covered so, she had it etched in her memory.

She lowered the gas flame and her phone's ringtone echoed.

Tarini's pov

I don't really look forward to any day in particular except for Mahashivratri. It's the most special day for me, My bholebaba and Maa Parvati's day. I can't let anything...Anything! go wrong at any cost. Ridhi is busy taking a shower, she woke up a few minutes ago.

All my focus was on the Hawla I was preparing when my phone's screen flashed Maa's number. I lowered the gas flame and answered the call. It's so early and she's calling me? I hope everything is fine.

"Hello? Maa?"

I was desperately waiting for her voice to reach my ears, so that she can tell me nothing wrong has happened.

"MahaShivratri ki bohot bohot shubhkamnaye, Taru."
( Greetings for MahaShivratri, Taru.)

A sense of relief washed over me and I closed my eyes with a heavy sigh leaving my lips. She knows I must be excited for today.
