Tarini's pov

The moment I stepped into his cabin, I felt that maybe today I will turn half the world upside down.

But when he gazed at me, hugged me, even while I was pushing myself away from him. For the first time, it seemed as if someone had accepted not only me...but my entire sorrow, rage, evil, stubbornness, and hatred of opening up to love.

At that time, I felt the joy of living for millennia today. His every word, every touch has left an imprint on my heart. If only I had known how beautifully everything was going to turn out...

I would have been a little less mad at him for avoiding me.

He loves me…We Love Each Other.

The thoughts racing through my mind caused me to roll onto my stomach, and my grip on the pillow I'd been clutching all along tightened. I'm madly in love. I don't want to run away from anything anymore.

All the while, I had looked at him as if I were a wingless bird staring at the sky, or a selenophile looking at the moon, only to lament the fact that I would never be able to experience my love for the sky, my love for the moon.

But I've given my heart to him. And, of course, being the man that he is, He has completely accepted me. In the gentlest...sweetest way possible.

I have my sky now. I finally have my moon. Closer to me. Closer to my Heart.

"Someone is head over heels for their neighbor. So much!"

Ridhi pitched in. She has been sitting by my side, on my bed. Munching on the cookies Surya had brought for her. Yes, she finally got them. Surya had come home to check on her and that's when he gave her those cookies.

Seeing the loudest ones silently stare at each other revealed a lot. But none of us doubted it. To celebrate our confession, they both danced around the entire room. And it appears that they observed everything I had previously ignored.

"Yes, so much!"

I reached for one of the cookies in the box but was slapped on the back of my hand. Seriously, over a cookie, this woman is already attacking her best friend?

"No! I am not going to share these. If you really desire cookies, ask your man to get you some from now on."

She rose from her bed and exited my room, taking the box of cookies with her. My man? Those two words made me want to jump up and down on my bed and dance like no one was watching.

As the heat started to creep across my cheeks, I nuzzled my face into the pillow. Since we left the workplace, I've been smiling for no apparent reason.

It was strange how I believed that my difficulties from my past would lead him to shove me away from his warm embrace. But every word he said, every second we spent staring into each other's eyes, drew the threads of my heart and soul closer to him, tangling them up into a knot.

When he told me he was aware of my background, there was nothing but pure love dancing behind those honey brown eyes. And those eyes never lie. They never did. I grabbed my phone and instantly opened the picture that Surya had taken for us.

Perfect. Exactly as Som stated. It is flawless. I couldn't stop admiring every part of his face. His captivating smile caused his lips to tilt upwards. The way his eyes glistened. Those extraordinarily thick and luscious locks of his dark hair.

He was holding me in a gentle yet firm grip, drawing me closer to himself.

They say sparks fly out the moment your gaze mets your loved one. Heart beats faster, blood pumps faster but in my case, love is not that. It provides a much needed peace. Those waves of uneasiness and cold blooded gusts of wind met with a serene end of the sea that  now flows into my heart because of him.
