Someshwar's povTarini knows the perfect way to leave me puzzled by her actions every time. I have so many questions running through my head right now. Who was that guy at the restaurant? And who's Rudra Singh now? I remember she mentioned that he is a 'Mafia who turned into a business tycoon' ...but why would she have connections with such a man?
I was spinning the pen and brainstorming when the tinkling sound of bangles reached my ears. In a matter of split seconds, the cabin's door was pushed open by none other than My Pikachu.
I can't put it into words how happy I am to see that she is still wearing those bangles. Everytime I hear the sounds of those bangles, a smile is on my face. She could take them off to maintain her professional appearance but she chose to wear them.
"Good afternoon, Mr sharma."
Taking firm steps in my direction, she said. Whenever she calls me Mr. Sharma it seems like she's teasing me. She usually calls me himachali seb regardless of the office hours but she doesn't anymore. Hmm, fine then here's my answer to your lovely greeting, my love.
"Good afternoon, soon to be Mrs sharma."
And just how I expected she stood frozen to her spot as her reaction to my answer. Her cheeks turned to a pinkish tint.
"Who's turning into an apple now?"
"These are the after effects of being around you, Sir! Stop teasing me. Now, please leave these files and have your lunch."
She picked all the files from my desk in a hasty pace and kept them on the chair next to her. And if I am not mistaken she said stop teasing? You think I'm teasing?
"I am not teasing you, Tarini."
I was late to realize that my genuine reaction made my voice come out a little rough. Her hands stopped in the middle of opening her lunchbox. With a deep breath escaping her lips she looked me in the eyes and asked me
"To tum serious ho? Tum mujhse... "
(So are you serious? You want to... )It happens rarely so, when she lets her insecurities and fears be heard in her voice. From the moment I first met her and till the time we became friends she used to stay closed off.
I squeezed her hands with mine and answered her unfinished question.
"Shaadi karna chahta hoon. Of course main tumhe force nahi kar raha. Ye mera sapna hai ab."
(Marry you. Of course, I am not forcing anything on you but it is my dream now.)
All of my emotions came over me while saying this. Maybe because I am putting forth my desires for the first time, for the first time someone has become my dream. I am hoping to spend the rest of my life with her...but it's not about my dreams and desires alone. It's all about her decisions and choices here.
"Som, tumse jab main mili thi na toh tum bohot zindadil aadmi lage the mujhe. Jisko zindagi sahi mayeno mein jeena aata ho, jiske sapne ho. Par tumse pucha nahi maine. Aaj bataoge? Ki tumhe kya kya chahiye zindagi se?"
(Som, when I met you for the first time, your impression was of a man who knows how to live his life to the fullest. But I didn't ask you about your dreams or goals in life. You also must have them right?)
'How are you always reading me?'I asked her without using any words and she answered me back with her eyes. Just how they say love doesn't have any language, I believe we are exactly at that stage where words don't matter. We would know what the other is thinking.
