Sunburn

I was at the beach with Brady, his family, and his twin brother's girlfriend Layla, we had been there for a week and this was our last day we were gonna leave tonight to go home. everyone was putting on sunscreen except Brady and Connor because the whole time we had been here they refused to put any on

"Boys you have to put on sunscreen" their mom said

"We're not gonna get sunburnt mom we haven't the past few days so we're not gonna now" Connor said

"You guys say that every time and every time you get sunburnt and then your miserable"

"Then I guess we'll be miserable" Brady said taking my hand and taking me to the water with him

Me, Brady, Connor, Maddie, and Layla were in the water splashing around having fun when Connor, Brady, and Maddie's mom said we needed to come put on more sunscreen. We walked up the beach to the blanket they were sitting on and grabbed the sunscreen, everyone was putting it on except Brady and Connor once again

"Come on stop being stubborn and just put some on" I said to them they rolled their eyes

"Fine but Brady I'm not babying you when your brunt, miserable, and in pain" I said

*Time skip to when their home*

We had gotten home at 5am and all immediately went to bed.

I woke up in Brady's bed and checked the time
1:37 pm it said I looked over to Brady he was as red as a lobster. He got sunburnt like we all told him he was going to. I looked at him he looks like he was in pain, I decided to text Layla to see if Connor was sunburnt too

Me: hey lay is Connor sunburnt?

Lay🤍: yes he is, is Brady?

Me: yep he looks like he's in a lot of pain

Lay🤍: Connor does too. We told them this was gonna happen 🤦‍♀️

Me: ik and they didn't listen I gtg Brady's waking up I gotta make sure he's not dying of pain

Lay🤍: kk lmk🫶🏽

I looked over at Brady he tried to move but soon stopped when it hurt him

"Good morning my little lobster" I said

"Ow shut up it hurts " he said squinting his eyes from pain

"Good, now take your shirt off let me see how bad it is"

He started to take off his shirt slowly being careful not to touch his sunburn he finally got it off and I looked at his shoulders and back he was red it was bad I took my fingernail and swiped it across his back

"Ow fuck you dick" Brady said

"If it makes you feel any better Connors sunburnt to"

It did not make him feel better he just groaned. He laid back on his bed quickly shooting up forgetting he was sunburned

"Owww why do my bed sheets hurt, everything hurts" he whined

I rolled my eyes and got up from his bed and started walking towards his door

"Wait where are you going" he asked

"To get you something for your sunburn so you'll shut up"

I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen and was greeted by his mom

"Hey y/n will you tell one of the boys I need their help with something" she said with with a smile

"I would but I don't think they can help they're both sunburnt badly"

"They should have listened to us"

"I know" I said grabbing some aloe Vera rub out of the fridge

"I'm gonna go put some of this on Brady so maybe he'll stop whining about being in pain" 

"Okay hun let me know if you guys need anything" his mom said before I walked out

I walked up the stairs back to Brady's room to see Brady trying to find a phone charger because he forgot to plug up his phone when we got home and now his phones dead. He was trying not to move to much because it hurt him

"Hey lobster I got something to help you"

"Stop calling me a lobster"

"Wear sunscreen and I won't" I said ploping down on his bed

I handed him a phone charger so he could charge his phone and then made him turn around so I could put some Aloe on him. I put some on my hand and started to rub it on his back

"Y/n thats cold" he said

"It's supposed to be cold it makes your sunburn feel better dummy"

I continued to put aloe on his back and then moved to his shoulders and neck his chest and stomach wasn't sunburnt just his back and shoulders

"There" I said rubbing the last bit on him as gently as I could

"Thank you" he smiled softly

I laid back on his bed as he laid on me I made sure not to touch his back or shoulders in case I'd hurt him. We watched "adventure time" in bed as I ran my fingers through his hair until we both eventually fell asleep
