Sapnap
- drunk driving
- car crash
- death

"Hmm..." Sapnap groaned, sitting up. "Fuck."

He looked around the unfamiliar room filled with people he didn't recognize. Where exactly was he? This pounding headache was making it difficult to think. Sapnap stood up shakily and caught sight of assorted bottles laying on the ground. Of course, he'd been drinking. That was why he couldn't seem to walk straight.

He walked out of the door, not even bothering to close it since the house was trashed anyway. Luckily his car was parked within his vision, so he was able to get back into it. Inside there were more empty bottles and trash from assorted fast food places. Sapnap pushed a few out of his way and stumbled into the driver's seat. He was definitely still drunk, but it would be fine. It was just a few drinks.

Sapnap started up the car and backed out, trying his hardest to focus on the road, although his mind kept seeming to drift away. Before he knew it, he was on the highway, but was having a hard time remembering where exactly he lived. It was definitely somewhere around here.

A loud honking caught Sapnap's attention, alerting him to the fact that he was drifting into the other lane. He turned the wheel the other way, accidentally overcorrecting himself and winding up on the shoulder.

"Shit, shit, shit-"

He turned the wheel once more and changed lanes, no blinker. More honks sounded off around him.

"Yeah, yeah, I know!" He snapped, gripping the wheel harder. Was driving always this hard, or was it just the alcohol? He didn't have much time to think about before seeing an intersection coming up. The light has just turned yellow.

"I can make it."

Sapnap pressed hard on the gas, causing the vehicle to speed up as the light became red. The lights for opposing traffic turned green, causing other cars to begin to cross the intersection. Sapnap slammed on the brakes, but it was too late.

A gray minivan was struck by Sapnap's now out of control car, sending them both hurdling into the middle of the intersection. Another car swerved, just barely missing them. Sapnap pushed the now ejected airbag out of his face as he looked out of his shattered windshield. His breath caught in his throat as he desperately threw his door open and ran over to the other car.

A young woman was hunched over the steering wheel, glass caught in her skin. A small girl was strapped into a car seat in the back. She was not crying.

"Get back!"

A man yelled, pulling Sapnap away.

"You've done enough damage as is!"

"What...?"

"What were you thinking, driving drunk?! They're dead! You've killed them!"

Sapnap burst into tears, covering his mouth with his hands to keep himself from vomiting. He had killed someone. A child. A mother. They were dead, because of him, and he barely had a scratch.

Eventually sirens could be heard in the background and a police officer handcuffed Sapnap. He gave a rehearsed spiel, but Sapnap couldn't listen. All he could think about was the dead woman and child.

Sapnap sat on one side of the glass, looking back at his furious best friend.

"Are you kidding me?! What the fuck is wrong with you?!"

"I don't know, I don't know!"

Sapnap shook his head, sobs racking his body.

"You should be ashamed of yourself! I can't even look at you right now..."

Dream turned his head, staring down at the floor.

"I hope you burn in hell."

A guard led Sapnap away, back into his room. He fell onto his knees, burying his head in his hands.

"God, stop crying already!" Another inmate yelled.

Sapnap bit his lip, his sobs subsiding into trembles.

"I'm sorry..."

Sorry isn't going to cut it this time.
