Chapter 6

Walking towards the castle front square you found Sebastian waiting for you.

"Are you ready for our little escapade ??" He asked with a smug smirk plastered on his face.

You shook your head at his confidence with a little chuckle "As ready as I'll ever be Seb!" you joked with him starting to walk at his pace.

"Oh Seb .. it has a nice ring to it hmm" he smiled genuinely heading towards the village.

The walk was rather interesting aside from the friendly bickering,  you and him chatted quite often and in turn got to know him a tad better.

"I have a sister you know, she was with us in school but she got cursed from a bloody goblin leaving her sick and weak. but I know she will get better soon... I'll make sure of it." He said in a depressed tone looking far ahead lost in his own thoughts. probably thinking about the possibilities of what he could do to help her.

You felt torn for him, if anything were to happen to your sister you would be devastated considering she is the second only person left of your family's bloodline.

He told you how he lost his parents and had to live with his uncle whom wasn't too happy to take care of them. it perplexed you how much alike you were to him.

Being orphaned at such a young age in the most dreadful way left a sense of comradery with in you.

"I'm so sorry to hear that Sebastian, she sounds like a lovely person " you tried to console him softly to the best of your ability.

The death of your parents left you reticent to the common emotions shared between people.  you found peace in solitarily. Yet here you were making friends and going on life like a normal person.

Maybe magic was the missing piece all along maybe that's all you needed to break away from your shell and learn to live again.

Sebastian suddenly turned around and flashed you a big smile. "I think you two would make great friends, let's visit her sometime together yeah?" He exclaimed sounding more excited at the thought of taking you to see his sister and spending quality time with her.

" I would love that Sebastian " you smiled and chuckled at his enthusiasm.

sauntering in town, you took in the vast scene before you It looked straight out of a fairy tale it was so picturesque you wished you could take a picture of it and show it to your sister.
