The sound of a blaring alarm interrupted your warmth slumber, your hand rose and fiddled over the bedside table for your phone. swiping away at the screen aimlessly until the noise ceased to exist.
You grunted in annoyance and turned back to nuzzle into Ominis, who was already awake staring at your face with a tender smile.
"Taia, get up love. We have a lot of things to get done today" He brushed your hair away from your face, and leaned in to place a soft kiss on your temples.
"I know..." you whined before you felt him rip himself off of you, and then turn around and out of the bed.
"Then come on get up, we need to get to breakfast before your sister leaves for work, or else we would have to wait for her until she comes back" He strutted towards the bathroom picking up his clothes that were tossed all over the floor the night before.
You sighed before pulling the blankets over your head. the weight of the heavy meeting already weighing down on your heart.
Today is the last time you would see Ella, regardless of whether you would try to come back here a second time or not, this would be the last time for a long while. You closed your eyes, feeling your throat tighten as the tears threatened to fall off. You did not give yourself a chance to fall into misery, before you got out of bed and followed Ominis into the bathroom.

"You look pale Taia, are you quite alright?" Ella asked as she watched you pick at your food aimlessly. her fork came to a stop mid bite when you did not respond, as if you were in a trance.
"Taia.." Ominis whispered before he nudged your arm, and your eyes shot up quickly in an apology for being distracted.
"Oh yes I'm sorry. What is it?" You asked finally sitting your spoon on the table, choosing to give up on the war you were having with your food.
"I was asking if you were alright, you seem distracted. are you nervous about the meeting with the attorney? You can still back down you know, you don't have to give me your shares Taia." Ella giggled before she too sat her utensils on the table and stared at you.
You had asked Ella yesterday to get the paperwork ready, so you can settle everything once and for all. That way you won't have any regrets once you go back. Ella would take over the company completely, meaning she did not need your vote or presence to make decisions any longer. The idea itself was great, yet the closer you got to executing it, the closer you got to leaving as well.
"Of course not, I want you to have them Ella, it is the least I can do" And just as the words left your mouth a knock on the door announced the arrival of said attorney.

You and Ella stood in your father's study watching the door close behind the attorney as he left. Ominis decided to take a walk around the mansion once last time while everything got settled.
"Ella, I wanted to say for the longest time. Thank you for everything, for being my support system after our parents passed away. for taking care me all this time, and for being the best sister anyone could ask for" You said before reaching towards her and giving her one final hug.
She stumbled a bit in shock and confusion before she slowly raised her arms to hug you back awkwardly.
You giggled and nuzzled your face into her shoulder, trying to hold on the sobs that were threatening to escape.
"You are talking as if you are leaving me Taia, Is everything alright? You have been acting strange since yesterday, whats gotten into you?" She asked pulling you away from her so she can peer at your face.
