My babysitter is a vampire

My apartment is a blend of different colors and patterns

"Call your families"

Looking at Elijah I say

"If you have..."

He rolls his eyes

"I have a family"

They all get to it and out of the 5 people present only 1 gets a reply back

Ironically enough, that one person is Elijah

"Elijah?"

"Mom? It's me"

"Elijah, your girlfriend was attacked by what everyone is calling zombies. I know you want to come home as soon as you can but do not. Stay where you are"

Elijah's face grew panicked and his chest started heaving up and down

"Where's Marie now mom? Is she in the hospital???"

His voice grew louder and louder as silence grew on the other side of the phone

"She's dead Elijah, she's dead....in my arms"
She continues to say," do not come home, the infection has reached here. We are the most populous state as of this moment which means...argh!"

Elijah's mother let's out a scream

"MOM?! MOM WHAT'S GOING ON?? MOM!"

Her screams die out as the only thing heard is the sounds of crunching

Elijah quiets down and asks for the bathroom

After telling him where it is he heads inside and locks the door

We all leave him alone and Easton slides down the door and sits on the opposite side of Elijah hearing his quiet sobs

"Oh my gosh..."-Isadora
Saanvi tries calling her parents again but to no avail

She gets emotional and breaks down

Following after her the others girls cry out and embrace each other

and once again I'm just awkwardly standing to the side wondering what the hell I should do

"There's uh, some sweet potatoes in the fridge"

I hope they say no cause the penalty finna go hard

"No thanks"-Isadora

"Goo-ok well there are two rooms so you guys can settle down in which ever one"

The girls stumble to the hallway and choose the room to the right

"Is it just me or does the room look bigger than the apartment?"-Isadora

Saanvi calms down as she also notices the peculiarity of the situation

"Look outside" Saanvi says which prompts the girl to do just that

"Aren't we in the bronx? There should be buildings from our line of view considering this apartment room is in the middle of the building not at the very top" Saanvi adds

India, who rarely ever speaks says "the view is also distant, like we are far away from civilization" (like the view you see from a cliff overlooking the town below it)

"Hey what time is it?"

"It's 5:37pm" Saanvi answers Isadora

"It doesn't look like it's that time outside, it's looks much earlier"

The girls who seem more like detective take turns sharing their discoveries

Isadora gets closer to the balcony when she bumps into an invisible wall

She falls back and looks at the balcony that started
glitching

The girls help her up as they inch close

They reach out their hands trying to get to feel the wall

They successfully touch it

Isadora scoffs

"It's a holographic screen"

"Aren't those expensive?" Saanvi follows after

"Im tired" India groggily says and jumps on the bed

"So soft" she continues and sleeps

"India? Wake up, we have to shower"

Saanvi gently shakes India but it's no use as India is fast asleep

Saanvi let's her sleep and goes to the bathroom with Isadora

Upon arriving opposite to the bathroom, they see Easton just sleeping sitting down

They look at each other helplessly and head back to the room

They turn off the light...

They quietly and swiftly get to bed to avoid disturbing India and fall asleep

"Jesus"

I was in the corner of the room (invisible) all along

'I'm so grateful for my quick thinking'

I go through the door and make a pit stop right in front of Easton

'He's asleep and so is Elijah. They both fell asleep on the floor...how cute'

I make him float and lead him to the other bedroom

I open the door and do the same for Elijah

After making sure they are sound asleep, I lock myself in the restroom

I sit down on the toilet and hear loud thunder

I can feel my veins popping out weirdly enough

Sure enough, a torrent of diarrhea shoots out from my ass

"Arg-" I shut my mouth and and bite down on the wooden spoon I bought from Efik, Xclatos (another dimension)

And I just suffer for two more hours while they are fast asleep
