The Group and HER

Breach

—-the story will now be focusing on the group—
—-the POV's will switch from time to time—-

(ISA's POV)

The topic of Leandra smoothly passed and now the group knows of India's powers

It's great that we met good people but I can't help but think of Lea (Leandra will be shortened to Lea)

'was she really lying when she said it was to protect us?'

I walked to the Window as I got upset and when the others asked me what was wrong I just said I wanted to see the trees

I let my thoughts wander back to Lea

'It was so fun around her....I think my mother was right when she said I get attached too quickly'

I chuckle

This time I stop thinking about Lea and really appreciate the scenery outside

I open the casement windows and bask in the fresh air

I look to the distance and see black dots

I squint trying to get a better view

'Those black dots look familiar'

"Hey guys? Can you get over here"

The others look over and come to me

I point in the direction and seeing the group's faces while squinting makes me laugh out loud

I stop laughing as soon as I lift my head

Everyone's eyes are wide open

And Saanvi turns to me

"THOSE ARE ZOMBIES! A WHOLE HORDE!"

I feel woozy all of a sudden

"WE HAVE TO INFORM THE OTHERS!"

We almost run out the room when we hear a siren

My dad Bursts into my room and tells us the Infected are nearing the Estate premises

We grab any thing left in the room and go outside

From the top it looks so tiny but when you view it at ground level everything becomes much scarier especially seeing how that was a MASSIVE horde

The guards (changed the soldiers to guards) escort the people inside to their vehicles

My dad urges me to come with him but I hesitate and look back to my group

They just look at me and India gives me a reassuring smile
I turn to my dad to say my thoughts just to find out that he already locked the door

I look at him in astonishment and he just rolls down the window to say that time is money

The others run up to me to prevent me from looking like a fool and we safely get out of the estate and head to the north of the zombies (opposite)

We safely get away even if we all look so disheveled

Unfortunately about a few minutes later we ran out of the little resources we had left, which was a pitiful amount anyway.....and my precious lulubug (the van) was no longer running

It needed fuel

The others and I had to proceed on foot

——switching to Joel's POV——-

After our vehicle broke down, everyone had to walk

It was the start of winter and the wind was picking up and hitting us hard

We brought a lot of things with us but we had to leave some behind in the van

We just walked and walked and things
just got worse for us.....

(I will stop here because as you can see the spaces are huge and I'm trying to figure out how to fix it)
