It had been a fortnight since Rakhi. Prince Aryan and his wife were living in their own paradise. Prince never failed to wrap her in his love and Imlie never failed to tease him about that. It was all because the calm Prince Aryan Singh Rathore was used to her chaotic nature and his turbulent wife was used to his composed nature.
She was a princess and wife of a crown prince. Her one order and hundreds of people could be standing in front of her to follow it but she never asked for anyone. She used to do everything by herself. The only person she ordered around was her husband...she loved to get pampered by him and he loved to pamper her even though he would pretend to glare at her whenever she did that.
She was used to palace life now and the main reason was...no one in the family asked her to change the way she wanted to live. As a matter of fact they loved her and adored her just like she was. King and Queen always took her side whenever she and her husband used to fight. She would do it purposely most of the times just to rattle him. Usually Prince Aryan's calm demeanour was known everywhere but when it came to her, she knew exactly how to rile him up.
Oh and the fun she gets while doing it.
She was standing near the window of their chamber lost in her thoughts.
Where is he? Why is he not here?
She could not digest the separation from him even if it was for half a day. She would argue with him on that matter and whine about it, just like tonight.
But it was not a small matter right. I mean I miss him. It is such a serious issue.
She pondered over her life after she came here. She had also started learning about how to manage royal duties from Prince Aryan and King. Days used to pass by with the family and her training while nights...well...all she could describe it as heaven, absolute heaven. She shyly smiled thinking about it. She could not believe herself. If someone had asked her months ago, that she would behave like this, she would have called that person insane.
But here she was...acting all clingy and insane in love. She loved the way he looked at her. She loved the way he embraced her. She loved the way he cared for her. She loved the way he kissed her. She loved the way he called her Jungli in deep voice. The way he held her...Sigh!
I miss him more now.
He had been busy since last few days looking after the training of soldiers and his royal duties. He had a hunch that by now whoever Sangraam's partner was, he might have come to know about his abduction. So he wanted to be prepared ahead if there is a sudden attack. They had already discussed about it. She knew he loved her more than his life but when it comes to his work, he was so adamant on doing everything in a proper manner without procrastinating it. Sigh!
She looked up outside the window and started complaining to God, "Is this fair?
I mean I know he is a prince and he has royal duties but I am his wife, right? Should he not give attention to me? And from last few days even when we are together, he keeps having conversation about work and scolding me, 'Jungli focus. You are a princess. You have to manage PratabhGadh also.' 'Jungli read the royal rule book' 'Jungli do this' 'Jungli do that'." She imitated in her husbands voice.
Then she scowled and continued further keeping her one hand on her hip and with one hand pretending as if she was explaining a very serious matter, "I mean the only time he gives me proper attention is when he helps me to get dressed up in the morning. Then , he kisses me on forehead and embraces me from behind. He is so sweet, right?"
She spoke the last lines with a silly smile on her face and imagining the scenario but then suddenly remembered she had to be mad at him.
Control yourself Imlie. Do not lose today. She mumbled to herself.
