Meanwhile in the prison cell of Jaigadh Palace
A man in his early fifties was tied up with ropes but there was no sign of him being beaten. His eyes were covered with the blindfold. There were many guards outside covering the area completely. He did not know where he was. Few men came in his village and abducted him. It had been a day. No one had come yet. He was thinking about the possibilities of who it might be when he heard the sound of footsteps coming towards him. Someone removed the blindfold and the moment his eyes opened,he felt the splash of cold water.
" Who are you?" he screamed.
"I am Madhav, commander in chief of army and Prince's royal guard. But leaving aside my description, how about you tell me your identity?" Madhav asked him
That man replied arrogantly ," You are the one who abducted me. Are you not aware of my identity?"
"I am not talking about your false identity, you bastard. I am asking about your real one." Madhav was really furious at the man in front of him since the time Prince Aryan had asked him to investigate.
"What did you say about you being royal guard? So prince is asking his guards to do dirty work of abducting now? Tchhh... tchhh... I had no idea that royal family of Jaigadh would harm an innocent."
Madhav went ahead and held his jaw angrily,"Now you listen to me, you coward. Do not dare to say a word against prince or royal family. I was calm until now because Prince had asked me to do so."
He left his jaw and started circling around him while speaking, "Besides if you are innocent as you said before, how did you know that I was talking about Jaigadh when I never mentioned it's name even once."
That man was fumbling now.."I...I am innocent. You do not have any evidence against me. How would you prove anything?"
"Leave that upto us to decide whether you are innocent or not? Let's start with your real name, Sangraam"
"How..how much do you know?"
A man who had a smug face a moment ago had turned into fear stricken face.
He was in shock that the identity he had hidden for 18 years now was out. The plan he had plotted for so long with his friend would be all in dust if the truth comes out."Well...we know that you are not Imlie's real father and about the other facts, why don't you reveal it yourself?"
Madhav had tried to expel the truth out of him by all means...well except one...
Maybe he needs to get canned,he thought then only he would open his mouth.
If not for Prince's order, he would have done that too.
"I am not going to speak anything. If you have any evidence, then we will talk."
Madhav knew that they had no evidence for now. Sangraam was way too cunning and seemed like someone who was planning all this for a long time. He was getting frustrated now. The thing was...Madhav barely had any patience.
"Are you sure you don't wish to share any light on the truth, Sangraam? Because trust me, Madhav is way too ruthless in handling such matters. If not for my son's order, you would have been beaten to death by now."
"Your Majesty. Greetings. You are here. You could have just called me." Madhav bowed down.
"Get up son. I also wanted to see the person who dared to plot against the Rathores."
King gave a calm yet furious look to Sangraam.
He turned towards Madhav and said," For now we should leave. Prince is on this topic as we are talking. We will talk about it when he comes back. ""It was Imlie. She wanted revenge. She wanted to kill you all.I tried to stop her." Sangraam shouted.
"Make sure that he doesn't get any food."
