Ponyboy~ It would be kind of awkward since he wasn't expecting you to hug him. He low-key didn't want you to let go but was nervous. He apologized for being awkward after because he thought it seemed rude.
Dallas~ He would act like he didn't like it but he secretly thought it was adorable. He'd just let you hug him while he barely hugged back, but he gave you occasional puffs of his cigarette.
Johnny~ He would be more nervous than Pony. He doesn't usually get much affection so when you hugged him he was very happy.
Sodapop~ He would hug you back immediately and give you kisses on the head.
Two-bit~ He'd hug back happily.
Steve~ If he's eating cake he'd probably push you off, but if not he'd pick you up and spin you around.
Darry~ He would give you a bear hug, then thank you and tell you he needed the hug.
