I read this theory about souls once
It said we all had ribbons
Attached to one another
Some are thicker
Some are thinner
But they never cutIt said they connect us to the people
Our soul finds most importantIt said not in every life we get to meet
Not with everyone
Not for sure
Some ribbons are too thinSo I'm thankful to The
To let me cross the path with yours
Even for a little whileI'm thankful to feel the light
The warmth
The happiness you gifted me
I'm thankful our ribbon exists
