CHAPTER 7

Megha came back to her room.

Dinner time

Nitesh went to his room to call Jaanvi for dinner.

"Jaanvi are you fine now?" Nitesh asked her.

Jaanvi nodded in Yes.

"Okay chalogi dinner krne neeche or I should send ur dinner here only??" Nitesh asked her.

"Main bhi chalungi neeche.. I'm better now" Jaanvi replied

He nodded n went downstairs.

All the family members Were there jaanvi also joined them in a few minutes for dinner.

All served their food by own.

Mom said- Jaanvi Megha listen.

"Yes mom" Megha replied.

" Aree haa Today ur masi told me that Mohit(Boys cousin brother as he's their mom's sister's son) is coming after 2 days. So u both please make necessary arrangements" Mom said to them.

"But why is he coming mom??" Megha asked mom.

"Mohit have some work here so he's coming and also Nitesh you please take care of everything as you only know him the best" mom said to Nitesh.

Nitesh nodded and said-"don't worry Mumma I'll take care of everything."

Mom nodded n all finished their food and went to their rooms.

In mom & dad's room:

Dad asked mom as she was lost in deep thoughts- "what happened? What are u thinking?"

Mom looked at him and said- " I'm thinking about everyone. Like look at everyone na. Nitesh and Jaanvi's life, then Megha and Kartik."

Dad asked-"matlab? I mean Kartik aur Megha ka kya? They are happy together & just used to be in themselves aur kya chahiye aapko."

Mom replied:" whi toh problem hai ki unhe bs apne se matlab hai. We live in a joint family starting se maine iss family ko sambhala h then Saanchi came she did the same after that agar hum iss generation ki baat kre toh Jaanvi bhi same krti h... She's perfect in everything,sabko sambhalti h,sabke liye sochti h, sabko saath rakhti h but Megha woh bilkul opposite usse koi farak nhi padta kon kaisa hai,kisse kya pasand h kya nhi kn she's so uninterested in our family. Woh kaam kre mujhe usse koi problem nhi hai but uss kaam ke liye woh jis tarah se iss family ko ignore krti hai yeh mujhse nhi dekha jata. 🙂🙂"

Dad nodded in an understanding manner and replied-"dekhiye aap sahi keh rhi hai par I prefer yeh baat ek baar aap Megha se clear kyu nhi krti? Aur agar aisa lagta h ki woh nhi samjhegi toh aap baat krke samjhane ki koshish kriye na usse shayad samajh jaaye aur haa please don't compare her with Jaanvi. Har insaan kisi na kisi cheez mein acha hota h kisi mein nhi compare krenge toh dono ko hi bura lagega."

Mom said-"Compare nhi krna hai mujhe aur naa hi kr rhi hu bs bol rhi hu ki Megha thoda toh interest le humare ghar pe."

Dad nodded & replied:"hmm yeh baat bhi sahi h aapki jb aapko time mile baat kariyega itni tension mat lijiye aap aur so jaiye."

Mom nodded and both slept.

Next morning

Mom woke up early n went downstairs... Megha joined her after some time then both made breakfast for all.

Mom asked megha-"beta can I ask u something?"

Megha replied-"yes mom sure."

Mom took a deep breath and said- "Beta can't u adjust with us?? See ik it's difficult to adjust with new people, handling a family together is difficult but if you try na it'll all be possible."

Megha-  "Mumma I know why you're saying all this but the thing is that I don't want to manage everything. I mean why should I? I'm married to Kartik not this family it's better if I look for him only."

Mom- See beta I won't talk unnecessarily I'll directly come to the point & The main thing is that, sirf husband important nhi hota Megha I mean bohot kuch hota h husband but kuch uski family bhi hoti hai. Mujhe iss ghar mein bohot saal ho gye h n uk it took soo long for me personally to keep this family together then Saanchi came honestly it was not easy for us to co-operate with each other But we did somehow and now it's time for you and Jaanvi Megha! Tum dono ko ek dusre ke saath manage krna hoga ik it's not easy for you and not even for her but krna padta h Megha. Abhi bhi time h family ko priority dena shuru krdo zyada late ho jaayega toh kuch nhi rahega na yeh family na yeh bonds. Isliye jo aaj h uski kadr krna shuru krdo🙂🙂

Megha nodded n took some time to process everything mom said to her then she said- "Mumma I am understanding your point of view but the main thing is that it's not easy I mean I have always been in a nuclear family where my parents n my sister only mattered for me but now suddenly I'm married in a joint family. Adjusting in this family is fine I mean I'll try but even u guys need to understand that I'm also a human being every time every one keeps on comparing me with the Jaanvi bhabhi. For her this family is everything but for me my career is everything, woh bohot mahaan h bhai main nhi hu and honestly it's so stupid of her din bhar family family kon krta hai? Mtlb seriously tumko agar achi family mili h toh focus karke career banao rather than roaming around everyone in the home din bhar toh woh yhi krti h aree padhi likhi h toh itna sb drama kyu?"

She was about to say more but mom cut her in between n said- "bas kro Megha it's ok yeh tumhara point of view h ab marzi bhi tumhari hi h main isse zyada kya hi bolu bs yeh bolungi ki ek baar shaanti se soch lena in sabke baare mein baaki marzi toh tumhari hi hai."

Mom said this n left from there before Megha could reply.

Megha's point of view:
" Hadd hi h bhai iss ghar me sb ajeeb h woh bhi hadd se zyada din bhar bs yehi sb chlta h yaha pta nhi kya soch ke joint family mein shaadi krli maine bhi huff koi baat nhi Megha calm down faltu ka stress kyu le rhi h"

(she calmed herself down n did some work.)
