CHAPTER 9

After a not so sweet conversation with Megha. Kartik had his lunch and went back to his work.

Here at Jaanvi's side:

She went to her hospital there she checked a few of her patients, took daily updates from her juniors.

After completing all this she went to her cabin.

She sat there for some time and just then someone knocked at the door.

"come in." Jaanvi said.

A woman in her early 30s came inside wearing a really beautiful blue kurti with white pants.

"Diiii aap???" Jaanvi said looking at the person surprisingly and shockingly too.

That woman looked at her n smiled broadly.

Jaanvi got up from her chair n went to hug her. She hugged her tightly but carefully.

"Kaisi hai meri jaanu??" that woman said hugging Jaanvi as tightly as she could..

"I'm fine di, u come inside first & sit" Jaanvi said breaking the hug, held her hand and brought her inside.

Both settled themselves on the couch comfortably.

"So now u tell me kaise ho?" Jaanvi asked her.

"Bs tujhse milne aayi hu baba. Tu toh Milne aati nhi h even ab toh ghar bhi nhi aati haa? Itni kya busy ho gyi h?" She replied.

"Di yr I'm so sorry but seriously time nhi milta h pehle ghar fir hospital fir ghar aur time mile toh tabiyat kharab ho jaati kya hi kru ab main isme?"
Jaanvi replied

"Health ko kya hua baba? All good na?" She asking being concerned.

"Hmm ab better h di dw bs thoda fever ho gaya tha toh 2 din leave pe bhi thi."
Jaanvi told her sister

"Ohh koi na ab pakka theek hai na tu?"
She asked Jaanvi.

"Haa haa baba kitta tension le rhe ho? Chill kro I'm totally fine." Jaanvi said giving a surety to her sister.

"Chal theek hai btw yeh bata tere aur Nitesh ke beech ab theek hai na sab?" She asked Jaanvi and after listening to this Jaanvi was taken back a bit.

Jaanvi didn't want to lie to her sister,her second mother but she can't give her stress too. She never hides anything before neither she lied to her and after a lot of thinking she chooses to tell the truth as everything was better now.

"Dii honestly speaking itna toh nhi but haa kaafi cheeze change hui h like positively there is a change in our relationship like pehle kaise tha na ek dusre se farak bhi nhi padta tha but not anymore. Uk abhi when I was not well he was there with me not all the time but most of the time. He was taking care of me indirectly so I am happy with whatever is going on." Jaanvi replied

Di smiled n felt a bit relieved 😌😌
She said-"Jaanvi sometimes things are not in our favour so we think that they are wrong but in actual they are not. I'm happy that now atleast for 1% things are getting better. Everything will be okay trust me."

Jaanvi nodded n hugged her di.

Her di hugged her back tightly.

"Aree haa btw how's your devrani I mean kartik's wife??? You didn't told me much about her? How's she?"  Her di asked curiously.

"She is okay di. Like she's just opposite of me for her,her work & money is everything. I mean that is important but aisa bhi kya kaam jo Khushi na de sake kisi bond ki value nhi kr sake?"
Jaanvi said this to her di.

"Actually people like Megha forget that money is something but not everything but it's ok u don't worry about her. She'll come on track once she gets to taste her own medicine btw haa in sbke ki wajah se tera workload badh gaya hoga na kaafi??" Her di asked.

"Not much di mom Chachi n sab bohot help krte hai toh aap uski toh bilkul tension mat hi lo" Jaanvi replied.

"Hmm okay chal ab dhyan rakhna apna main chalti hu u take care n koi bhi baat ho remember I'm just a call away. Understood??" Her di said.

"Yesss. Byee and you also take care please." Jaanvi replied n hugged her sister.

Her sister left and Jaanvi also got busy in her work again.
