Lo'ak closed his eyes for a moment. He could hear the sound of thunderous bells coming from outside and the voice of the many impatient guests waiting by the main hall of the cathedral.

He could have never imagined himself marrying, let alone doing so in such an ostentatious place, but Tonowari had insisted on holding a proper ceremony in the city since he was the one funding the whole ordeal.

Tsireya and Lo'ak didn't complain.

Even when the man filled the place with people neither Tsireya nor Lo'ak knew, they remained quiet.

Lo'ak thought that it was alright. He could dress in fancy clothes and wear well-polished shoes, he would stand the lacking abilities of whoever was the one playing the organ outside, and bear any discomfort as long as Tsireya was happy.

But now, as he heard the hushed voices of his sibling outside the door, he began thinking that maybe it would have been best not to take his fiancé's feelings for granted.

"Alright, then. What is it?" Lo'ak spoke as he swung the door open. Neteyam and Kiri were startled but didn't bother to pretend.

"There is a small problem." Neteyam cleared his throat in discomfort.

"Do you mean, besides the idiot who misses half of the notes out there? What can be more terrible than that?"

"I can't find Reya." Kiri mumbled with a sigh, watching Lo'ak's face go blank. "At least the organ isn't the biggest problem now..."

"What do you mean you cannot find her?" He remained calm, but his siblings could clearly see the hint of fear in his eyes. "Did she leave?"

"No. If she did someone would have seen her." Neteyam spoke softly. "And why would she? Perhaps she just..." He shrugged, unable to come up with any good excuse.

"She didn't look well when I left the room, and by the time I came back, she was gone. Maybe is the nerves, she must be in here somewhere."

"We must find her quickly, this should have been started fifteen minutes ago." Neteyam spoke softly not to upset Lo'ak even further.

"They can wait, and if not, they are free to leave." He mumbled going past them.

He walked through the corridors, and as his anxiety grew bigger his steps grew faster. He opened door after door, unsuccessful to the point of thinking that Tsireya might have actually left.

He wouldn't blame her if she did. The situation was entirely too overwhelming for him, and he could only imagine what was going on through her head in her position as the bride.

There also existed the possibility that she was regretting marrying him, but if it were the reason he was confident that she would have said something before getting to that point, so his heart rested a little more assured.

He ran along a hallway that had pillars on the side which directed to a small garden inside the building. It was so well surrounded by tall bushes that he almost missed the tiniest glimpse of white within his vision range, making him stop abruptly.

Very carefully he walked inside, discovering a fountain in the middle, and a bride sitting by it while covering her face, doing her very best to hide from the world.

"Star..." Lo'ak spoke softly, still managing to startle her. Tsireya turned around to look at him with tears on her face.

"I'm sorry, I will be there in a...I just...I just need a moment, I'm sorry." She dried the tears on her face as quickly as she could.

Lo'ak got on one knee in front of her, careful not to step on her dress. He smiled at her and reached for her face to soothe her.

"We can leave at any moment. If you wish to, you just need to say it and I will take care of the rest. If your father gets angry, let him be upset at me. I do not care for his anger, I've faced far worse from my brother."
