Hiruzen sat there with a far away look trying his hardest to wrap his mind around everything he had been told, he couldn't help but feel impressed at everything Maria had accomplished and angry at the same time at the idiocy of the villagers, understanding that Maria had every right to just leave and not return, Konoha could have lost an incredibly strong shinobi, only the feeble bonds she had with enough people he could count on one hand made her return and for that he was grateful.
"Honestly that is a lot to take in, im just glad your back, what do you plan to do now?"
Maria grinned at Hiruzen which slightly unnerved him and silently prayed for the poor souls of the village.
"Well I think first astablishing a clan compound would be nice, I have a few Uzumakis I met on my travels coming to Konoha they should arrive tomorrow, two of them I would enrol into the academy to graduate with this years students, I know of two more that unfortunately are being mistreated where they currently live so I will make way after tomorrow to acquire them".
Maria flips through the current folder of the graduating students carefully reading the contents before continuing.
"One of the two I'll be saving shall join the academy with the other two, of course I'll take on the three Uzumaki as a genin team".
Hiruzen furrowed his brows after hearing about Uzumakis being mistreated but he needed to know where they were first, just taking shinobi from another village was seen as an act of war and he would rather not go down that route.
"While I don't like hearing about your fellow clansmen being mistreated I can't simply permit you to go and take shinobi from another village it could cause massive political problems from konoha".
Hiruzen had expected her to blow up in his face but what made him shudder was the grin he saw her make, he was now beginning to understand why she was dubbed the huntress, he wasn't even on the recieving end of that grin and he still felt like prey, he couldn't help but feel a little sorry for what she might do to whatever village she was talking about.
Meanwhile in the hidden grass village a pair of glowing yellow slitted eyes was watching as a group of ninja were forcefully dragging a grown woman with red hair who looked slightly malnourished towards a hospital.
'be strong for a little longer, my lady is coming and when she does this village will crawl and beg for forgiveness after treating her clan in such a way'.
A day later Maria was making her way down towards the south gate, she had just been told by an Anbu that three Uzumaki had turned up at the gate and was waiting for her there, these three were the ones she told Hiruzen about and she would admit she was excited at seeing them again.

Gin Uzumaki was an eccentric man who chased after her like a dog chases its tail, before he met Maria he was a womaniser and a flirt but he seemed to dial it up further when around Maria, she would never say it out loud but she enjoyed their game of cat and mouse, she had gotten a bit too drunk once and had spent the night showing him what a woman could do, safe to say she had left quite the impression as while he still flirted around he had all but stopped his womanising, if he could just be a little more serious about life she might give him a chance but until then she would keep pace just out of his reach.
