Narukos new life as Lady Maria Uzumaki

Chapter 5: Welcome to the academy

A few days of work had done wanders for the Uzumaki compound with all the shadow clones cleaning and repairing. The giant black gate with the Uzumaki clan symbol in the middle that would be split when the gate was opened had been built and attached to the wall surrounding the compound. Behind the gate was a small garden area that surrounded most of the compound with a pathway up the middle leading to a Japanese styled sliding double door, when opened using the trademark Uzumaki chakra it granted access to the hall way that surrounded the middle of the compound, In the middle of the compound was a large open area with several Sakura trees a large fountain in the middle with a panther statue on top of it, several path ways that lead to each of the different houses that resided within the walls of the clan compound. One large straight pathway in the middle that had Sakura trees and small bushes following the pathway up that lead to the big main building at the back which would house the clan leader and provide a study for meetings, internal and external political matters. Uzumaki symbols would decorate the walls and the large fountain, next to the large main building would be the library which would contain the secrets of the Uzumaki clan when Maria had returned. An innumerable amount of security, sensing and maintenance seals were now placed all around the compound, the compound was now one of the most secure places in the village and the more Uzumaki that returned to the clan it would only get stronger.

Gin, Akira and Akio walked down the hallway of the academy silently observing the pictures and quotes given by very well known shinobi lining the walls. He smiled down towards the two Uzumaki siblings, "Now you two play nice with the other kiddies and try not to give the teachers any problems, I'm looking at you Akira".

If Akio was listening to Gin he didn't show it he was more than happy to just silently observe the pictures, Akira glared at Gin clearly not happy with the teasing remark. "It shouldn't be for long anyway, once Lady Maria returns with the two Uzumaki she set out to save we and the girl will be on a team anyway there is a lot more to learn from the Uzumaki scrolls that Lady Maria has on her person for three Uzumaki not to be put on a team".

Gin could only chuckle at the straight laced person that was Akira, her unquestionable loyalty towards Maria Uzumaki after having been saved by her was scary, she had made it her personal mission to walk in the footsteps of her clan leader. Her brother while sharing the same loyalty towards Maria had a more subtle approach to showing it, he took on the teachings of his clan head to heart and had always given his all when learning the many secrets of his clan.

All three Uzumakis arrived at the designated classroom with a small amount of apprehension. Both Akio and Akira had a gut feeling that today wouldn't be as smooth as they might like. Gin knocked on the door and waited for a few seconds before a man with shoulder length silver hair opened the door. 

The silver haired man studied the three for a moment before stepping out of the class and closing the door behind him. "Good afternoon I'm Mizuki, how can I help you three?".

Gin fished the note out of his pocket and passed it towards the silver haired man and waited patiently for the man to finish reading the note. "we not long arrived in the village and have become part of the new Uzumaki clan, I'm Gin Uzumaki, this here is Akio and Akira Uzumaki their siblings and will be joining the academy to graduate with this years class, our clan leader will be returning to the village soon and will most likely be visiting the academy as the Hokage has announced her as his successor and will be handing several responsibilities on to her including responsibility over the academy curriculum", the three Uzumaki didn't miss the twitch of the eyebrow when Gin mentioned the Uzumaki name.

Mizuki was shocked not only was the Uzumaki clan still alive but they were returning to Konoha but also the Hokage had a successor and she was the clan leader to the Uzumaki. His master Orochimaru would need to hear about this, maybe he would be rewarded.
