Narukos new life as Lady Maria Uzumaki

Part 13 A Necessary Evil

It didn't happen often but now he was seriously unnerved, the room was quiet while he stared down the woman in front of him. He had been minding his own business at home training when a masked man had suddenly arrived and told him Lady Maria had need of him. Now however he regretted coming, he didn't know what she wanted but by the look on her face it wasn't anything good.

Maria looked away from the boy and towards her right hand root leader and nodded. Sasuke wanted to ask what she wanted but his vision suddenly went black and he felt his body falling before losing all consciousness. Maria looked at the boy now laying on the floor and got up, she walked over and stood above the Uchiha. "Apologies Uchiha but it's time to set the bait." She held out her middle and index fingers which started to glow a golden colour and begin drawing a seal on his neck.

*Several weeks later*

The Chunin exams were just around the corner and under Maria's watchful eye preparations were being finalised, several people from the visiting villages had begun to arrive ready to try their chance at moving up in ranks. Maria was sitting in her office finishing some paper work, she had ordered an overhaul of the hospital and demanded files on all the working staff. She wanted to include a section of the hospital that promising students in the medical field could come and learn first hand experience under veteran medical staff.

Her silence was interrupted when Gin, Akio and Akira walked into the room, "Well hello beautiful, you need us?" *Smack* "Show some respect to Lady Maria you giant oaf." Akira bows, "apologies my lady." Maria just nods and looks back at Gin and sweat drops at the scene, he was now sat in the corner hugging his knees while drawing circles into the ground pouting. She shook her head in exasperation, "Yes I called you because I wish for Gin to perform a test on the three teams that came out of the academy before they enter the Chunin exams. His down expression suddenly turns to one of focus at Maria's statement, "What am I to test them on?" Maria stood up and walked to the door with the three Genin following her, "If they are strong enough to even enter the exams." Gin nods and follows her out with the three other Uzumaki's right by his side.

Team 7 were told by Kakashi to meet him at their training ground bright and early, Sakura who had just arrived noticed her other teammates had beaten her to it. She looked over her two comrades and sighed, Sai wasn't bad, a bit quiet, kind of detached from the world and very blunt but she didn't mind him. Her other teammate however, when she looked over her final teammate she sighed again. Her feelings on the Uchiha were confusing, she knew she was losing that obsession over the boy and she couldn't help but thank Lady Maria for the theoretical kick up the ass. Maria had done a lot for her over the last month and a bit and she was learning more than she could have imagined, she looked down at her clothes and smiled, something else Maria had gotten for her as a gift for doing so well in her training. 

The diet she had been on thanks to Maria had done wanders for her health and body, she had so much more energy and found getting up early wasn't so difficult anymore. Her physique as a growing woman had begun to show more definitely and she was loving it. Her sense of style had changed quite a bit and she couldn't help but laugh at her previous immature self. she kept her pink hair long but it was tidied up and held back by a ribbon, she wore a white jacket which had sleeves that were semi-open, at the bottom of the jacket were red flowers that ran across the bottom. She still wore a dress but it was white across her chest and a dark maroon colour the rest of the way down, the dress finished just above her mid thigh with an opening by her left hip. She wore black leggings that like the dress had an opening at her left hip. To finish her new look she wore open toed black heeled sandals that took a while to learn to move around in effectively but now it was like second nature.
