Y/N's Point of View~

I sat on the couch, staring at Fury. I'm carefully observing him realize he has no leverage. While waiting for his response, I took the opportunity to watch the team he had assembled.

Steve Rogers. A man who has been frozen for seventy years...nothing else is very intriguing. He appears to be a great leader, but how effective is he? How does he handle pressure? Does he remain calm, freak out, or freeze?

Tony Stark. He's your typical billionaire. He's a genius, I'll give him that. But without a suit, he's powerless. Speaking of the suit, it takes a million years simply to put it on...completely. I suggest Nano Tech since it is significantly more efficient. But who is he without his suit? I'm not sure, but he's clearly a playboy. He winked at me with a smirk on his face. It honestly made me want to punch him.

Natasha Romanoff. I'm not sure if she's an agent or an assassin. Maybe she's both? According to my investigation, she appears to be S.H.I.E.L.D's most lethal assassin. She knows how to fight and does not rely on technology or her anger to be useful. How well does she work with others? She just might be the only reliable person on the team...

Thor Odinson. The God of Thunder. How in the world did they acquire a God? Why does he need a hammer to summon lightning? What if he misplaces his hammer? Does it reappear or come back? Probably the most intriguing person I've met thus far. I'm curious whether his world differs from ours.

Bruce Banner. The individual relies on his anger to aid him. What if he's not upset? Is he constantly angry? He is intelligent; with his and Tony's combined intellect, they could devise a sound strategy in under an hour. I don't think he knows how to fight, which is a bad thing if he can't become the Hulk.

Clint Barton. Wasn't he supposed to be retired? I can relate to what he's going through. He used to be an assassin before retiring to do anything he wanted with his life. I'm in the same predicament, but I'm always being pursued by the bad guys and superheroes. We're both being sucked into the same nonsense that we both urgently want to escape. He's the one I'll connect to the most out of everyone here.

Stephen Strange or Dr. Strange. He used to be a doctor if I recall properly. Now he uses magic...an intriguing turn of events. He was the best doctor, but instead of helping others, he just cared about himself. I'm not sure why he stopped, but his hands keep trembling.

Last but not least, there's Nick Fury. The asshole who never knows when to give up and take no for an answer.

"Fury, pay attention. I'm no longer in this area of work. I have tasks to complete and people to look after. I'm not going to join the Avengers," I responded, smiling as I held my mask. Carson and Emily painted it for me for my birthday a couple of years ago.

I heard Nick Fury sneer, then put his hands behind his back and remark, "There was a man, child predator, murdered near the school your kids go to. He had many injuries, one of which was a bullet to the crotch." Emily and Carson both stopped eating the apples I had brought with me, looked at me confused, and then returned to look at Fury. I began to giggle. 'He genuinely believes I murdered the guy...' I thought as I covered my lips with my palm to muffle the sound.

"I didn't do it!" I exclaimed after I had calmed myself. I couldn't stop giggling. Is that one of the gunshots I heard before the bell rang?

"Then why are you laughing?" Thor inquired as he approached his hammer. He appeared to be attempting to be intimidating, but it wasn't working.

"Because whoever did it is a fucking genius!" I smiled while responding. "This may surprise you my dears, but I don't give a shit about the guy. He was a child predator, and he got what he deserved. He's lucky I wasn't the one who killed him, because I would have made things far worse..." Leaning back and crossing my legs, I stated. My wings fluttered and raised slightly.

"We need you on the team!" Steve Rogers screamed. I turned to face him before rising.

I approached the man before coming to a stop. "Why is that? What distinguishes me from others? Is it my fighting abilities? Or my intelligence and wings?" I inquired, staring down at him with interest. "Or perhaps you have an enemy you want to defeat but can't because you lack leverage. Is that what you're asking? You want my assistance, fine. But I'm not doing it for free," I explained as I returned to my siblings.

"What exactly do you want? Money?" Tony Stark asked with a smirk, I gave him a look. I have a lot of money. There are advantages to being a retired assassin and CEO.

"Oh, believe me. I'm not interested in your money. I'm sure I have more than you. Thank you for the offer," I responded, smiling. I stood up, taking my younger brother and sister, and walked for the door. "By the way, I'm only helping with this one mission. I'm done with fighting, it's one of the reasons why I retired," I said while lightly pushing my little siblings into the elevator.

"Where are you going?" Dr. Strange asked, it looked like he was about to use his magic.

"Wherever you aren't" I responded with a smile. I shook my head slightly, "I'm getting geared up, I'll be back. I'm not bringing my younger siblings into this mess."

I stared at Nick Fury as the elevator door was about to close. "Fury, you owe me," I muttered as the doors closed and the elevator started going down.

With the Avengers~

"Okay, she's very intimidating!" Bruce shouted, just now letting out a breath of air...as if remembering how to breathe. Everyone agreed by nodding their heads.

However, all eight people were thinking the same thing. 'We have her on our side.' and 'She'll be mine.'
