Y/N's Point of View~
I went to a small diner. I planned on getting food at this ungodly hour before going to the tower. The girl at the register, MJ, whose name was on her nametag, didn't seem too thrilled to be working the late shift. Despite her tired expression, she greeted me with a warm smile and took my order. As I waited for my food, I heard the bell ring, signaling that someone else had entered the establishment. Two boys had entered; MJ seemed to brighten up a bit as she recognized them. They exchanged friendly banter and laughter, creating a lively atmosphere in the otherwise quiet diner. It was clear that these boys were regulars, and their presence seemed to uplift MJ's spirits, making her job a little more enjoyable during the late hours of the night. But that raises another question. Why are they here at 2 in the morning?
I heard my name being called up, so I grabbed my order and was about to leave when I heard one of the boys. "Excuse me, miss? Do you know Mr. Stark and where to find him?" Curiosity piqued, I turned towards the boy. Why would he need Tony? And if it's what I think it is, what did Tony see in him?
As I was about to reply to him my phone started ringing. Tony Stark. Speak of the devil. I let it ring for a few seconds before answering. Tony's voice rang through the line, did I hear excitement in his voice? "Y/N! You actually answered! Where are you?" I could sense the urgency in his tone as he continued, "I need you to meet me at the lab right away. Something big has come up and I need your expertise." Then he hung up on me before I could reply!?
Oh hell no.
I called him back, and he answered in a millisecond, "Ye-" He was cut off by me hanging up.
"Yes, I know Tony. I'll take you with me; come on," I finally replied to the teenager. I walked out the door, hearing the kid run to catch up.
"I've heard about you! I'm sorry, that came out so wrong! You're part of the Avengers! And you're really smart and prett—sorry!" The boy kept rambling.
I'm starting to think he isn't sorry. I needed to shut him down before he got attached.
"It's a funny story: people think they know me," I cooed, "but they only see the version of me that I choose to show."
We finally arrived at the tower, and the boy, Peter, stared in amazement with his jaw on the floor. We went to the floor where the lab was, only to find the door was locked. "Do you have the key?" Peter asked as he looked around.
"Of course I have the key," I smiled at him before turning my attention to the door.

I started kicking the door open. After four kicks, it was busted enough to get in.
"You could have knocked Y/N," Banner exclaimed, looking at the now-broken door. I smiled at Banner before looking at Tony and approached him.
"What is this... thing you need my help with? Oh, yeah, a kid wanted to speak to you," I said before pointing at Peter, who waved awkwardly.
"H-Hi," Peter hesitantly said.
Tony gave me a shy smile before asking, "Do you know what I love about you?"
"Love?!" I questioned with a horrified expression. I ignored the glares, all of which were directed at Tony. Most likely from Banner, Peter, and Bucky.
I noticed how Tony's eyes got darker, as if a storm was brewing within him. His gaze became intense, revealing a hidden depth that I had never seen before. "Yes, love. I love how you're broken but not fragile," he whispered, his voice filled with desire. I was caught off guard; my eyes widened slightly before going back to normal. I nodded my head toward Peter as I went to talk to Banner.
