Kyra grew up with Rayla as her best friend. They always played together and pulled pranks on the other moon shadow elves. As they grew up they continued their assassin training, both excelling at their craft. Rayla grew up without parents for the most part, besides being taken in by Runaan and Ethari. But Kyra always had her parents, whom she loved very much. Rayla was always a little jealous of that fact that Kyra still had her birth parents, but didn't let it ruin their friendship.
They had proven themselves and were about to be sent off on a very important mission. But when Kyra finds out about the mission she's a bit hesitant.
