My knight in shining armor {Soren x fem oc}

Held captive

"Where are you taking us?" Kyra demanded to know.
"That's none of your business." Claudia responds.
"Um it's kind of all our business!" She corrects her.
"We're taking Corvus to a jail in a town that's not to far from here." Soren butts in.
"What about me?" You ask nervously.
"You're going in the jail too!" Claudia yells.
"Hey Clauds, maybe we should keep her around, she could help us get to the princes." Soren justifies.
"Fine, fine." She crosses her arms.
They enter the town as Soren starts asking the towns guards to put Corvus in their jail, but no one seems to be paying attention to him.
"Look there it is!" A lady screams.
You then see a big shadow in the clouds, it looks like..... a dragon?!
"Yeah, it's the third night in a row it's flown over us." One of the soldiers tells Soren.
"And you haven't shot it down yet? What are those ballistas for?" Soren questions.
"Well, it hasn't attacked us." Another soldier explains.
"So? It's the enemy. I'm taking command here. Crownguard, I might have mentioned."
Everyone rushes up to the towns tower getting ready to attack the dragon on Sorens orders.
"Hold on! The dragon isn't attacking. It's just trying to intimidate us." Corvus speaks.
"Well, I'll just have to show it that the humans won't be intimidated." Soren speaks.
"Soren please don't start a fight you can't finish." Kyra speaks up.
Soren shoots at the dragon.
It misses the dragon, destroying a tower.
The dragon flys up into the clouds.
"Ha! See? Scared it off. Dragon problem solved." Soren brags.
You then hear and intense roar and quickly look up to see the dragon setting fire to the town.
"It's circling back. Get ready to fire." Soren shouts.
The soldiers get the ballistas ready to fire.
"Fire!" He commands.
It misses the dragon once again, but this time the dragon blows fire towards the tower that they're on.
Everyone jumps out of the way.
Suddenly Kyra felt Soren on top of her.
He was shielding her from the flames. Before she says anything, he quickly unties her. She stands there confused while he goes to Corvus and slashes his ropes to set him free.
"I don't understand."
"These people need help. Get as many as you can to safety." Soren urges.
He nods "don't get yourself killed."
Corvus runs to go help the townsfolk.
"What should I do?" Kyra asks frantically.
"Help us kill this dragon." Soren replies.
"How?" She asks.
"I have an idea."  She says as she pulls out a box.
"It's the eye of a gryphon. With this, I can enchant a ballista bolt to never miss its target, no matter what." The mage speaks.
"Ugh! Gross!" Soren yells as he catches a glimpse of the thing.
"So you just carry a gryphon eyeball around with you?" Kyra asks.
"Yeah who does that?" Soren adds.
"Oh, how about, thank you for carrying a gryphon's eye with you, Claudia. You're so prepared. You're the best."
"Thank you, Claudia" you and Soren say in unison.
She doesn't look satisfied.
"You're the best!" Soren adds.
She chuckles and runs off to do her spell.
"Kyra help me turn this thing!"
She nods helping Soren as Claudia starts chanting some nonsense.
She enchants the spear and fires it. It misses then magically turns around and hits the dragon.
Kyra winces when it hits the dragon. She didn't want to hurt it, but it was attacking the townspeople (even though they provoked it) she couldn't just do nothing.
Guilt started washing over her.
They found the dragon a little outside of the town.
It was laying on the ground, wounded.
"I always thought it'd be you who took down a dragon, not me." Claudia jokes.
"Huh" Sorens confused.
"I mean wasn't that one of your life goals? Slaying a dragon?" She chuckles.
"Yes?" Soren says.
"Huh. It's funny, because I don't really care about it but...." She points to the dragon, then back at herself.
"I think it's dead, but we can't be too sure."
Soren kicks the dragon.
"Soren don't do that!" Kyra scolds him.
"What? Why not?"
She grimaces at the seemingly dead dragon.
"Secure the dragon!" Soren commands.
After the dragons chained down, you over hear Claudia and Soren talking.
"There's so many things we can do with a dragon. There's even a chapter about spells that use dragon snot.
Soren makes a disgusted face.
"It's some powerful goo." Claudia says excitedly.
"We don't have the dragon prince, but do you think if we brought this dragon home, dad would...."
"That's something, but it does weigh, I don't know, about a million tons? How are we gonna move it?" Soren makes a good point.
"In pieces." Claudia says nonchalantly.
"No!" Kyra protests.
"Soren tie her up again."
"Let's just let her go..."
"What?! Soren!"
She runs off to find her friends.
