A change in plans

"We should head back now" Kyra says.
"R-right." He says as he gets up and stretches.
They head back to the group, everyone seems to be ready to leave.
"Sooo what are we doing?" Kyra whispers to Rayla.
"Apparently miss mage and that idiot over there are coming with us, but don't worry I have a plan to show Callum that they're lying." Rayla says with a smirk.
Kyra nods.
"Where is Callum and Ezran?" Claudia questions.
"Oh, they'll be here soon. Ezran's still packing up his dragon."
"It had been a pleasure to have you all here. I truly have enjoyed you all sneaking past my defenses and desecrating the sacred place these past few days
would be lonely, quiet.... but lonely without you.
Lujanne says with a smile.
She quickly says her goodbyes to the young girl and her wolf. "You don't need the illusion any longer, but I hope that it serves as a reminder that someone is always looking out for you." She reattaches the magical collar onto the wolf.
Ezran and Callum walk up behind Rayla and Kyra.
"Okay, everyone's here now. We can all hit the road." Rayla exclaimed.
Something seemed off about the prince but she couldn't put her finger on it.
She's snapped out of her thoughts when she hears Soren.
"Alright. Time to go to the magical land and do whatever." He sighs, still stretching.
You can't help but smile a little at his lack of enthusiasm.
You all start to walk, Soren and Claudia trailing farther behind.
"Okay that's a little weird." Kyra says to Rayla.
"And what's with the princes... don't they seem a bit off?"
"Shhh it's all apart of my plan, just go with it."
"It's sure going to be a long journey, let me go around this bush corner and look for berries." Rayla walks off leaving Kyra confused on what she wants her to do.
Rayla gestures for her to follow, so she does.
Leaving the group alone.
"Look Kyra here's some berries." Rayla points dramatically. They bend down to pick the berries but hear a sword getting unsheathed.
Soren suddenly swings his sword!
The two elves dodged it.
"Oh no it's a trap." Rayla said in a mocking tone.
"Yep." Soren explains.
"But why? I thought we were friends."
"Sorry, but no. I'm just a nice guys and people get the wrong idea sometimes." Soren responded.
Kyra sighs, "you don't speak sarcasm so good, do you?"
"No I do not." He says with a smirk.
He suddenly charges at Rayla.
Rayla runs, dodging ever attack he throws at her.
Kyra takes note how he isn't trying to attack her, strange. Kyra rushes back to the princes to find that they're chained up!
"Soren, something's wrong! This is a trick!" Claudia yells.
"A trick? Us? No." Rayla say sarcastically.
Soren has a thoughtful look on his face and then looks up excitedly. " sarcasm!"
"Right." Rayla says annoyed.
"What did you do, elf?" He questions.
" I can't wait for the look on your big, stupid face when you see this. Ellis, show them."
Ellis and her wolf, Ava, pop out of the bushes.
"Here's your moment, Ava. Moonstone collar trick." Ellis removes the collar from Ava.
The princes suddenly disappear.
They were allusions the whole time!
That's why they were acting strange.
"They're allusions." Claudia looks shocked.
"What? You're saying they're not real?" Soren asks.
"That's what illusions means Soren." Claudia says frustrated.
"Where are the real princes?" Soren demands.
Suddenly a burst of light emits form the sky.
It was the princes! They were riding on the illusionists phoenix!
"Wooooo" Ezran shouts.
The bird swoops in and grabs Rayla and goes to grab Kyra.
"Claudia, they're getting away!" Soren shouts.
"No, they're not." Claudia starts chanting and summons a big tentacle that grabbed the bird before it could get to Krya.
It's starts to pull them in.
"Claudia, please! Don't do this." Callum begs.
She continues casting her spell but is interrupted by a chain wrapping around her wrists.
"Stop! Let them go." A man yells.
"What are you doing?"
"Protecting them from you!" The man says as he tries to pull her towards him, but before he could Soren hits him in the back of the head knocking him out.
"Big mistake, chain man."
Claudia then uses the same spell she used to capture the princes, to capture Kyra.
"Go without me, I'll catch up!" Krya yelled to her friends.
They hesitantly nodded and flew away on the giant bird.
Rayla looks back worriedly as she sees her best friend chained up.
Callum notices and try's to comfort her.
"She's with Corvus, she'll be okay."
Rayla nods.

"You know you're going to pay for this, traitor." Soren scolds Corvus.
" traitor? General Amaya sent me to protect the princes of Kotolis, and you just tried to kidnap them." Corvus replied.
"Everyone who boys Corvus is a traitor raise their hand" he then raises his hand and looks to Claudia expectingly.
Claudia rolls her eyes and raises her hand.
"Two against one, traitor." Soren says cocky.
"Hey! Stop being ridiculous and let us go!" Kyra spat out.
"Sorry, you know I can't do that." Soren says as he puts rope over Corvus's mouth so he couldn't speak.
He went to do the same to Kyra but stopped himself.
"Maybe we should let the elf be able to talk, she might have some useful info." He covered up, he really just didn't want to hurt her. She was the only one to be nice to him, so he wasn't going to hurt her.
"Fine." Claudia sighs.
"What are we going to do? We betrayed our friends, and it was all for nothing." Claudia speaks.
"It wasn't for nothing. Look." Soren pointed to a small bag behind her.
"The dragon! We still have the dragon!" The mage says excitedly.
"Come out you little-"
Soren tried to open the bag but gets a face full of moths.
"I hate the moon. Ugh!" He says as he spats the moths away.
You can't help but giggle at him.
How could a man that just kidnapped her be so funny?
