"It's clear that we still have some work to do," Dominik's voice cut through the chatter, "Let's form some cross-functional teams everyone. I need the updated progress reports for each project by the end of the night."
While the meeting progressed, Illy had kept her composure, responding politely and refusing to be derailed by Attila's deliberate attempts to unsettle her with his occasional interjections that aimed to either challenge or provoke her.
She wasn't sure how much longer she could hold out, though. The heat between her legs was growing unbearable and just as she was thinking of excusing herself for another bathroom break, she heard Dominik speak up.
"Okay so we'll reconvene in... three days to review our progress. Our goal is to ensure a seamless launch everyone. It needs to not only meet but exceed expectations."
As the meeting concluded and the projections of the holographic members vanished, the air was left alive with animated chatter and Illy started coordinating the subsequent meetings and follow-up discussions whilst she synched her notes.
Attila was stopped by Mia for a chat when Illy finally got up to leave and she quickly found her escape, walking alongside Dominik as they made their way down the hallway towards the elevator.
Illy found herself mesmerized by his confident demeanor and the way he had effortlessly commanded the room.
How is he so attractive?
"I've circulated the action items," She said, having to walk a bit faster now that she realized he was pulling ahead, "and I've scheduled a meeting with you and Felix Moore for 9 AM on Thursday. Let me know if the time works for you, I know you're meeting with team one that day."
Dominik looked down at her, a spark of appreciation in his eyes, "The time is fine. Anything else?"
His kind expression was causing her to feel a bit nervous and she found herself twiddling her thumbs, "I have the updated event schedule ready for your review. We should also address the resource allocation for the Antarctica project. I have some recommendations we can consider."
"Thank you, Miss James," Dominik said as they stepped into the elevator, and Illy's nerves dissipated instantly from his gentle tone alone.
"You've really impressed me," He continued as the doors slid closed, "I know you must be exhausted. Would you like to take a break now?"
