Six thirty.

That was the the time on the clock across the living room, and you'd been staring at it in silent contemplation since before Yoongi got home at six. In those thirty minutes he'd been home, he had either been on the phone with Hoseok or in his room showering and getting ready.

All bodies were moving, Jin followed him like a shadow while Jimin had buzzed all around doing the tasks asked of him. A green tea which you had let go cold, and whatever Yoongi needed; you hadn't looked away from the clock face to see.

You were counting down the minutes until he left, at which point you'd get up and join him; whether he liked it or not.

"Yn, you haven't touched your tea," Jimin sighed as he picked it up. "Would you like something to eat instead?"

"No," you shook your head distractedly. "When does he leave?"

"In five minutes," you nodded now. Thirty minutes to get to the docks, and then whatever was next.

You were being kept clean out of the loop and that annoyed you. But by Jimin's offer to make you food, you realized then Yoongi expected to leave you here. That annoyed you too.

Now that you'd lost your illustrious filter for the man, you had plans formulating already in your mind on how you'd address that.

"—Yeah, Jungkook says he's there already. We're leaving in a minute— I'll be fine Hoseok, I'll call on my way home," Yoongi's voice carried into the room as he entered from behind you.

So you stood up, pulling on the leather jacket you'd kept strategically beside your leg. You stuffed your hands into the pockets, feeling your old phone in one and your purse in the other. After tonight it was all you needed.

"Where are you going?" Yoongi asked from the elevator, frowning before he boarded while you strode towards him fearlessly.

"I'm coming with you," you stated, without even looking at him— just yourself in the elevator wall.

"No you're not, I'm not putting you in danger like that," he stepped into your path before you could board. He looked mad that you'd even thought you'd be going with him.

"Then this is me absolving you of blame because you won't stop me," you challenged, brows knitted slightly while you squared your shoulders.

Not as an act, this time you felt as confident as the move made you. Staking the dark haired man with a hard stare that showed him you weren't backing down from this fight.

You needed this. You needed to see the life drain from Dohyun's eyes and know you were set free. You needed that closure or you'd never feel safe again. And it'd be a lie to say you didn't want to be there for Yoongi, to know he was alright after all was said and done.

"You're being childish."

"Well I'm not your concern anymore," you brushed past him, just barely skimming your shoulder against his. As you turned to face him with your arms crossed over your chest you caught the way his back and shoulders expanded from the agitated breath he let out. Then he looked at Jin who'd witnessed the scene from a spectacularly close distance without having to be directly involved.

Lucky man.

He did look stunned though, tense and unsure of what actions his boss would take to your insubordination.

"She's your responsibility, protect her with your life " he told his guard while you scowled at the back of his head. Your venomous gaze stayed on Yoongi even when they boarded the lift, him beside you and Jin in front. "You don't leave Jin's side, do you understand?"
