My All...
It was no news to know Natalie was happy to be around Sam, wishing to see him more often as time with him felt like seconds.
She managed to completely forget about time, shocked to see it was little people around as the clock struck close to eleven-something. They were at Romano's for nearly three hours just talking, laughing, getting cozy in the booth with little to no space between them. The owner was willing to stay open a little longer if it meant seeing the two just blend with each other.
But, Sam checked his phone and noticed it was close to closing time.
Spending this time with her, he noticed that the two had things in common yet they were so different. Like for instance, his moral beliefs didn't align with hers as he what he did for work would be considered immoral.
If this was going to work out in the long run, one of them will have to choose. Choose stay after knowing she was falling for a Mobster, or Sam allowing the title to pass down to Giuseppe or Mattia for Don, meaning he would have to leave the Mob life.
For good.
Natalie slowed down her strides as the two now stood outside waiting for valet. She decided to thank him for tonight, and thank the heavens above that no one in his contact list cut their date short. It was fine dining, good wine that she had a few sips of, and amazing time spent with him.
He had a gentle hold on her hand, caressing the back of her hand with his soft touch, Natalie lifting her gaze to see he was in deep thought. The sounds of the night and small breeze kept her balanced, waiting for him to say something.
Lacing his fingers with hers, he pulls her over to him with ease, "well, I'm glad you had a good time," a little distance between them.
Natalie mentions with a smirk, "maybe I could take you out one of these days. Treat you," since he paid the bill.
"You can take me out," he tells her for her to know he wasn't allowing her to pay.
"And treat you," she adds but Sam shook his head. She didn't want to bicker back and forth, already planning to slip her card over first next time they went on a date.
Silence fell between them as their eyes stayed focused on each other's, Natalie trying not to get herself excited for another kiss because when she thought it was happening before, it didn't. She wanted to kiss him desperately, but she was going to leave it in his hands, for him to make the first move.
Her gaze dropped to his chest, Sam immediately titling her head up by cupping his hand under her chin. Her lips parted, feeling like her feet were being lifted off the ground from feeling light on the inside. None of the self-doubting and anxious thoughts were present as her body and mind knew what was happening.
Her heart fluttered, anticipating for the moment his lips met hers.
The air around now felt thick, their body temperatures bouncing off each other creating that warmth.
Sam kept his focus on her lips, slowly dipping his head low to brush his lips against hers. Her eyes slowly closed as he drew in closer, Natalie feeling a bundle of excitement and curiosity shoot through her.
The urge was irresistible.
A tingling sensation ran through her as the feeling of his lips were no longer a fantasy, no longer something to day dream about. She felt his hand move towards the middle of her back, pressing her body against his. With the height of her heels, her chest to meet his.
She could feel this electrifying feeling possess over her as his lips moved against hers for the first time.
The kiss was full of tenderness and passion, neither of them having a care in the world who was around. She felt completely undone, already addicted to him as the two fell in perfect harmony.
