Choices...
The sounds of birds chirping can be heard right outside Natalie's window, the sun peaking through as the two slept side by side underneath the comforters. She woke up once in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, shocked to see that he had stayed. She expected him to leave like most guys, smiling as she crept back into bed to not wake him, sliding in beside him.
She didn't know where things between them were headed, but all she knows is that last night was more than she could ever imagined. It was hard not to be swoon by him, too, because even after he tossed out the first condom, he would't stop kissing on her, pulling her into his arms.
Being high on sex didn't help her either, both of them initiating the use of another condom. After that, Natalie was tapped out, still feeling him kiss her face softly while she slipped into slumber.
It was clear he was affectionate, the kind of person that likes physical contact, and Natalie would've never guessed that just by looking at him.
There was this loud ringing noise that slowly pulled Sam out of his sleep. At first, he thought he was tripping until he noticed the noise remained in his ear. He turned to lay on his back, removing his arm from around Natalie's waist to toss it over his face.
Still hearing the obnoxious sound, he mumbled to himself, "what the fuck is that?" letting his his eyes roam.
He could see he was not in his own home, the memories flooding in fast on how he got here.
Not able to take in the moment because of the loud noise, he called out, "Natalie," trying to wake her up. Being shaken lightly, she hums, face still resting on the pillow, "turn that stupid shit off," she just assumed it was some noise going on in her dream, so used to it, it wasn't getting under her skin the way it was with Sam. She lazily reaches for her phone on the dresser, Sam asking, "why do you have it set anyway?"
Somehow stopping the clock by pressing down onto her screen, "I don't kn..." her voice trailing off as she tried to puzzle it together. She gasps, lifting her head up, "...I have work."
"Why are you rushing? It's-" both of them grabbing their phones off the dresser, "seven in the morning?"
Natalie sees the time, "I have to catch the train."
He stared at her for a few seconds, "I'll just take you," stopping her from getting out of bed, "what time you have to be there?" placing his phone back onto the bedside table.
"Nine," leaving her a little time to get ready, make breakfast, and then be on her way. It sounded quicker than it was, but that hour and some change was just enough for her to be there on the dot.
Sam extended his arm for her to come to him, Natalie trying to hold back a smile as she carefully lowered herself back onto the bed, "we got a half hour," wrapping his arm over her shoulder, Natalie nuzzling her body against his. She took a small glance at him to see he was closing his eyes, Natalie resting her head onto his chest.
She could easily nod off again as a result of his comforting grip and his warm body, but because she was focused on listening to his heartbeat as he started breathing softly, her mind started to wander.
She knew how to separate romantic feelings from sex, but was it bad that she didn't want to do that right now?
She just wanted to stay in the present, and allow herself to feel cozy and safe in his arms because she knew just as the moment was here, it could also be gone.
She was vulnerable with him, Sam seeing her in all her glory, and there was nothing she would take back and change.
Her body was sore by the time he was done, but Natalie couldn't get enough of him though. He made her cry dung sex and squirt, it was going to take more than a few hours for her to forget.
