The Switch Up...

Alessia eyed Giuseppe like he took her heart out of her chest and crippled it up in his grasp.

The silence between them was concerning, Giuseppe realizing that his claims were more hurtful than he thought it'll be.

"So, you were just lying to me when you told me you trusted me?" Alessia questioned, pointing to herself.

Giuseppe shook his head, "no. I believed you. It's just-"

Giuseppe became more nervous as Richie kept bringing up Alessia and how she might be playing him, and while Giuseppe stood ten toes down on his belief that she had nothing to do with Carlo's wicked scheme, he was becoming conflicted with all these opinions.

Things didn't make sense, and if this was some sort of plan to get her closer to the Castillo's to be an ear or whatever, Carlo would be successful.

Only thing is, Giuseppe waited too late to start questioning her.

"You're believing your Father now?" she questioned his sudden change of mind, "you think I would allow myself to get beat up to ease my way into your family?"

She still had a bandage around her hand from the glass she accidentally pressed her hand into, constantly being reminded of the blow that Carlo sent to her face that night since the bruising never went away.

"Alessia, it's just a simple question," he sighed in defeat. He didn't want to argue with her and hurt her feelings, but she needed to see why he was cautious of her.

"You seriously think I had something to do with this?" she raised her brows at him, "you kept coming back to me. You begged me to give you a chance and to not end things because you had it under control, and now all of a sudden, it's some back stabbing plan of mines to finish off your family?"

"Why haven't you answered me then, Alessia?"

"Because it's stupid ass question, Giuseppe!" she shouted frustrated. He was all she had until she could reunite with her family, but even then, they might scold her for what's been done, "since you believe I'm some two timing bitch who wants to kill you, why don't I leave?"

Giuseppe moved in her way to stop her, "Alessia, c'mon," but she shoved him away from her.

"No! C'mon- nothing! You don't trust me, and after constantly risking my life for you, you just toss me to the side."

He grabs her to stop her from walking around him, "they're gonna kill you."

She stared up at him with hatred, eyes showing every inch of anger, "what does it matter to you? If your Father thinks I set you up and you think I set you up, Carlo might as well kill me himself," snatching away from him.

Giuseppe clenched his jaw, wanting to bang his head against the wall.

All of this was becoming so much for him, and no one was around for him to talk to. Each and every time the Carlo and Alessia situation was brought up, his family blamed him for it; claiming that all of this could've been avoided.

Even though it was true, he felt alone through it all.

Expressing his concerns to Alessia would only stress her out, and she didn't need to be his therapist with everything going on.

Therefore, he was handling a lot mentally by himself.

He was seeing how much of an idiot he was for this- for everything, and now he was regretful. He let his dick think for him, and taunting Carlo was fun in between time, but now shit was serious.
