My name is America Singer. I'm seventeen years old. I am a 5 meaning I am an artist. The castes divides us by our career. One is the Royals. Twos are celebrities and guards or military members. The Threes are the educators. The Fours are business workers. Fives are us, artists and performers. By artist, I mean that I do the arts. My art is being a musician. I don't really like the castes. Sixes are workers like cooks and maids. Seven are laborers. And Eights are the untouchables.
I play the piano and violin and I also sing. I am the middle child of five children. My older sister, Kenna, older brother, Kota, younger sister, May, and younger brother, Gerad.
A friend of mine, a Six, named Aspen Leger, has been my best friend since I met him when helping Kota. Kota makes sculptures. Aspen and I have been dating since my fifteenth birthday. On my fifteenth birthday, Aspen sent me a card to meet him in the treehouse at midnight. When I got there, we confessed out love for each other.
Aspen and I have been secretly dating for two years. My parents don't know it and if they did, they'd be furious. We meet at night in the treehouse. Tonight we will meet there again.
