After a long day with my sister and then with Maxon, it was time to rest. I was tired and I changed into my nightgown. May was fast asleep and I quietly tiptoed past her to open the window to let in a breeze.
"Hey America."
A familiar head popped up and I almost screamed.
"Maxon!"I scolded.
"Sorry," he says chuckling quietly before I put my finger on my lips signalling him to shush and pointed at May. He formed an 'O' with his mouth and leaned in.
"So I was wondering if you're up for an adventure?" He said smirking.
I raised my eyebrow, "At this time?"
He nodded. "Yup what else did you think I mean?"
"Well where do you want to go?" I ask him.
"You'll see," he says quietly and waits for me as I get dressed.
"Turn around!" I squeal as he stares at me. He blinks from his daze and looks stunned and turns around. I chuckle under my breath and take off my night gown as I put on a red dress. I walk towards the windowsill and feel arms come around me. Maxon holds me tightly and pulls me out of the window onto the ground. I smile when I see Maxon's handsome face in front of me. He entangles his fingers with mine as we walk in silence to wherever Maxon had planned, to the unknown.

We walked for what it seemed like a million years, but we finally arrived to our mysterious destination.
"Isn't this the-?" I ask turning around to look at Maxon with a confused look plastered on my face. He brought me, to the library.
"Yes, it's a wonderful place," he says smiling. I laugh out loud and clench my stomach as I do. Maxon stands there staring at my actions.
"W-what's wrong, America?" He asks a bit confused.
"Why are we at the library when it's closed?" I ask pointing at the lock on the door. He smirks and pulls out something from his back pocket, a key.
"Being a spoiled kid I guess I'm trusted with some things," he says and takes my hand as he walks towards the door. He unlocks the lock and opens the huge library doors.
"Come on," he says and pulls me inside.

The warmth of the library took over my cold skin as I breathed in a deep breath and closed my eyes.
"Are we allowed here?" I whispered to Maxon, even though it was only the two of us. He nods in the dark. I smile and squeeze his hand softly.
"Come on, i want to show you something," he whispers and pulls me away into the dark.

We end up in a small corner in the library hidden behind some bookshelves.
"Some nights, when I can't sleep, I come here and read under the moonlight," he says pointing at the moonlight shining through the crack of the window. I smile and sit down leaning against the wall, as Maxon sits down next to me. I lean my head against his shoulder and hum.
"Maxon?"
"Mhmm?"
"Do you think we could ever get married?"
"Maybe. It's quite possible."
"Mhmm."
"Why?"
"Just wondering.... Thinking."
He caresses my hair softly and pulls me closer.
"I'm glad I have you Maxon."
"I'm glad to have you too my dear."
"Stop!"
