Me and Jeremiah aren't on speaking terms.

It hurts. It hurts so bad not speaking to Jeremiah. How would I talk to him again. "Hey I forgive you for cheating on me! Let's be friends!" I couldn't. I wouldn't.

I needed to figure out a way to talk to Jeremiah, he was like family. I was brainstorming, more stating off, wishing I forgave him. Wishing he was here right now, next to me. I get a call from an unknown number. Normally I don't answer these calls, but I did.

"Hey, um. It's Lacy. Jeremiah's girlfriend." The unknown caller siad.

"Oh. Hi? Is something wrong? Did Jeremiah ask for me?" I said. I felt stupid. Why would he ask for me? I regretted saying it.

"Jeremiah's missing. I don't know where he is, and you would know best, I figured." She said

"Oh. I can help. Do you want to pick me up or-" I said, very awkwardly.

"Sure. I know where your dorm is. Be there in 30." She siad. Then she hung up.

THIS IS LACY BTW!!

THIS IS LACY BTW!!

I packed a bag with some clothes, I didn't know how long we would be looking.

"Hey." I said, jumping into her Jeep. She didn't answer, she just started driving. "We should look at his friends houses and dorms first. Maybe they know where he is." She said, annoyed with my presence.

"Hey have you seen Jere? Or did he say where he went?" This is the fourth dorm we have been to. His friends suck. "He said something about surfing. Dudes crazy, there is no beaches anywhere near here!" His friend said. It hit me. Cousins.

"I know where he is." I say to Lacy.

"Where?" She says, intrested.

"Just let me drive." I say, smiling

We were five minutes away from Cousins. Me and Lacy didn't say a word to eachother. It smelled the same. Tasted the same. I loved it. Reminded me of Susannah. Who was dead. The realization hit me. This wasn't me staying at Cousins, we were picking up Jere and leaving.

Walking through that door, felt amazing. I haven't been here for a year , or two.

"Ugh is he even here?" Lacy says, annoyed.

"You saw his car out front, he's here." I say, matching her tone.

"Amelia?" A familiar voice around the corner says.

Jeremiah. I haven't seen him in forever. I just wanted to run over there and hug him. But I couldn't.

"JERE!" Lacy screams. She runs over and kisses him. A shock of Jealousy ran over me. Oh no, you can't like him. Not after what he did, just be his friend.

"What are you guys doing here?" He says. He had just been surfing. His hair was wet with a towel over his shoulder.

"You just left, and Lacy was worried, so." I say awkwardly.

"Oh well I'm not leaving. Come on! Let's just stay here for a couple days! Please!" He says beggingly.

"Jere stop. Let's go!" Lacy said

"You can go, but I'm staying." He says, angrily.

"Are you serious! I'm leaving!" She screams.

Then she left, without me. This sleep away bag is gonna come in handy.
