"Morning!" I said to Jeremiah while walking down the stairs

"Morning Mills!" He said, flashing me a bright smile.

"Oh and by the way, I'm choosing you. Don't worry about him." I said

At the time I meant it. I didn't think my decision in the end would be a hard choice.

"I'm applying to the Class because it could help me in the future!" I said to Jere, wondering why I would waste my time on it. There is this class where everyday you go for four hours and learn about what I'm studying, accounting. It's just an extra class that helps us understand the course better and I really want to do it. My mom did it when she was my age.

This is a famous thing around the US because all the best accountants took this class. Everyone is counting on me. I have to get accepted to attend, which will be hard. I will do it, I know I will

It was acceptance day! Me and Jere are going to sit on the poarch and wait for the email to be sent in.

"It's here!" I screamed. The email was here! I read,

Dear Miss Collins,

We are very sorry to inform you have not been accepted into our program. We do believe you have many opportunities to come for you, Amelia. Please visit our website for any questions. We wish you the very best.

"Oh uhm.." Jeremiah said. That's how he comforts me? Wow.

I ran off the porch and tried to run into the house.

Cam caught me and hugged me. I felt comfortable in his arms. That was really sweet. Maybe he is right for me?

Jeremiah yanked me out of his arms. "Let's go Amelia." He said.

"Leave me alone Jere." I said.

He scoffed at me but I walked inside.

A few hours later I was fine. Like the thought didn't make me cry anymore.

Jeremiah knocked on my door. I let him in. "What was that back there?" He said

"What are you talking about Jere?" I said. He rolled his eyes.

"You hugging him. He's no good for you." He said

"I was sad and he hugged me? What's wrong with that?" I said

"Your so dramatic Mills. It's not the end of your life because you can't take a goofy math class?" He said, rolling his eyes.

"If you think I'm being dramatic, good for you. Me and Cam can talk about instead." I said, angrily.

"I don't have time for your drama right now. I don't feel like fighting over you. It's weird. Why can't you just pick someone? It's not a reality show, it's real life. Sorry, by the way." He said.

I said whatever and he left. But he was right. I should pick someone. And I might know who.
