Me and Jere were going to a party. I haven't been to many parties since the party I found out Jere cheated on me.
We arrived together and the first person I saw was Lacy. I smiled at her and winked. She looked furious.
Jere went somewhere. Probably to find his friends. I went over to the living room and sat on the couch. A guy sat next to me. I didn't know him, but he was really cute.
"Hey" he said smiling. "Hi!" I said, friendly.
"What's ur name?" He says
"Amelia. Amelia Cocklin." I say
"Oh, my name is Matt. Matt Richards." He said
I found myself flirting with this Matt guy, I didn't mean to. I just did.
"Ur gorgeous." He said
"Thanks Matt, your not to bad yourself." I said smiling.
He leaned in. And so did I.
After me and this mystery Matt guy kissed, I got his number. I was going to go home with him, but I got up to get a drink and Jere wanted to go home. Oh shoot. I forgot about Jere. We weren't dating, so I technically didn't cheat. Right?
I was listening to music in my dorm when I got a text from Matt.
Matt 💗
Matt:
Hey, do you want to go out tonight? There's this restaurant that looks pretty good. 😁
I didnt know if I should go with Matt. I'm kind of, with Jere. We're not dating, or exclusive. I didnt know what we were. So it shouldn't matter.
When did Jere ever take me on a date. Matt was one of the sweetest guys I've ever met. Maybe I should give him a shot.
Me:
For sure, Tonight at 6?
