"[all spoken inside his head].  I don't know when it happened... but one of these days, I was created.  [Felix walks to his bathroom to start his day].  My name is Felix Fathom.  I am a fourteen-year-old boy who lives in London.  I am the son of a billionaire named Colt, and the loving child to a beautiful woman named Amelie. I master fencing, chess, and other skills to become an unstoppable challenger. Now, what do I mean by created you ask?  Well, here's the truth.  I'm not the person you think I am.  [practices fencing skills in the basement].  I may look human, but am not genetically human. I'm not even human I think. I'm not sure what I am, or why I was made in the first place. Nevertheless, it was something that made my life into a nightmare. [brushes teeth, and gets dressed]. I can come off as many things. Too many things even. But the world around me sees me as a normal boy when I'm not the kind of human they think I am. I am nothing, but, someone, else." Felix said. Now all dressed in his old suit, he walks downstairs to his kitchen. And yeah, Felix lives in a big mansion in London. He walks to the kitchen, where Amelie is cooking. "Good morning sweetie. Did you have a good sleep?" Amelie asked. "I did it if meant I get to see you every morning," Felix replied. Amelie smiles and kisses Felix. "Good morning, Felix. My worthless son." Colt said. "Ugh! Morning to you too, Dad." Felix replied upset. "Colt, that's your son you insulting," Amelie said. "Was my son! And you know it!" Colt yelled drinking his coffee. Felix gets angry. "Ignore him, honey," Amelie said. "Of course. Listen to your Mother, who doesn't want to admit you are not our kid!" Colt yelled. "[clears throat]. Colt, can we speak in the other room please?" Amelie asked. Colt groans but gets up. "Breakfast is at the table Felix. Please, enjoy." Amelie said. Felix smiles at his Mom, but not his Dad as he passes by. Amelie takes him to the study, where Colt works. Inside, he has a fireplace, hunting gear, photos of his success, and knight armor that holds a real-life battle axe. He also has family pictures of him, Amelie, and Felix, but he purposely scratched Felix out of them. "You are still upset about this?" Amelie asked. "Why aren't you mad?! Gabriel told us that it was not our kid! It's some... clone he made with witchcraft!" Colt yelled. "I understand that, and it breaks my heart that our real Felix is gone, but I remind myself. This clone is just like Felix, and it's right we love him as much as we love the real Felix. I'm sure that's what the first Felix would have wanted." Amelie said. "I love the Felix I made with you. He was living up to my expectations, and I loved him for it. With this freak, it's a waste! He's no human. He's a monster that I'm forced to love." Colt replied. Unknown to the parents, Felix spies on them through the key in the door. "But he looks like Felix, he acts like Felix. He is still the same son you love. Listen, I understand where you are coming from. I remember how pissed I was when Gabriel told us the truth, yet unlike you, I was grateful. I'm grateful we have this Felix, and we can still raise the boy we always wanted." Amelie said. "Are you saying I'm not grateful?" Colt asked menacingly. "Uh, yes," Amelie replied. As soon as she says that, Colt backhands Amelie to the ground. Scaring Felix. "You think you can tell me how I'm acting is wrong?! Listen loud and clean woman! The only reason you get to live in this five-story mansion with every possible desire imaginable, IS BECAUSE OF ME!!! So I could care less if I sound ungrateful because my kid isn't my kid! [pulls her by the hair]. Do me a favor. Be obedient, and shut your mouth!" Colt ordered. Amelie is horrified and nods her head obeying Colt. "Good girl. Now, I have meetings to attend. Make sure Felix doesn't do anything stupid." Colt ordered. Amelie leaves with a nasty hand mark on her face. Felix immediately runs back to the dinner table to eat, so his Mon doesn't know. She walks out rubbing her cheek. "You okay Mom?" Felix asked. "I'm fine." Amelie lied.

As she goes to clean up, Felix eats in sadness. "[spoken in the head]. So yeah. That's my life daily. I have a loving Mom and a Dad who hates me. During that spying, I now know more about myself. [in his room pieces together stuff]. I've been trying to figure out why I was made for months. The best piece I gathered from that talk is that I was made because the real Felix got killed. Meaning I am a clone of someone else. Not sure how, but it's clear I have more clues. Once I figure it out, I can finally understand my purpose, and who I'm meant to be." Felix said. It then cuts to him practicing chess in the chess room. He plays both sides to further expand his skill. He imagines the white pieces are himself, while the back pieces are Dad's. His goal? To absolutely dominate him at his own game. And Felix doesn't do any BS cheats on the black side. He plays fair. Making sure he wins the right way. His game gets interrupted when he hears a knock on the door. "Come in," Felix said. Amelie walks in with some tea. "Figured you be thirsty so I brought tea and biscuits," Amelie said. "Thanks, but I'm in the middle of a serious game," Felix replied. "But, it's only you," Amelie said. "Wait a second. [moves piece]. Checkmate Dad! Okay, tea time." Felix replied. He and Amelie sit on the couch to drink and eat. "I'm sorry your Dad isn't so kind to you. It's... because he's not in a good mood right now." Amelie said. "Can we stop with the lies Mom? I know the truth. I'm a clone of your real kid." Felix confessed. Amelie, shocked, drops her tea. "I spied on your conversation with Dad, and I heard it all. I even saw the slap he gave you when you called him ungrateful." Felix said. "Why did you...[sighs] I wanted to tell you for so long. But I didn't know how you would react to it." Amelie confessed. "So, can you tell me what I am?" Felix asked. "I... I don't know." Amelie replied. "All I want is the truth, Mom. If I'm not the son you created, at least treat me like the son you've always wanted. Please." Felix begged. Amelie thinks about this, but that gets cut short when Colby walks in. "There you are! I've been yelling at you for five minutes!" Colt yelled. "Sorry, dear," Amelie replied. "Call me Colt! I want steak for dinner. Cast ironed." Colt ordered. "I'll get on it now," Amelie replied. "But Mom. You said we can have what I want today." Felix said. Colt immediately clenches his fist. "That is if Dad wants steak," Felix said. Colt relaxes. "Good boy. For once." Colt said. He walks away, as Amelie leaves to obey this psychopath. As soon as she leaves, Felix tears up and cries. Crying over the abuse he has to deal with every day from his Dad.
