I felt happy for once

I finally felt a glimmer of happiness after what felt like an eternity of sadness. A smile crossed my face, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for the positivity that had entered my life. I owed most of this newfound joy to Meto, a kind-hearted individual who had taken the time to talk to me. To me, he was a hero, and I was just a lovestruck superfan. His words had given me a sense of hope, and I felt as though things were starting to look up for the first time in a while.

The dinner table was the setting for this momentous occasion, and despite feeling like an outsider, I felt like I belonged. It was a pleasant change from the loneliness I was accustomed to, and I relished the feeling of being part of something. For once, I had a sense of purpose in life, and it wasn't just to serve others.  After dinner, everyone quickly cleared their plates, leaving no crumbs behind. While it made me happy to see everyone enjoy the food, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness. I had spent half an hour preparing the meal, only for it to be gone in a matter of minutes. I tried to push these thoughts away, but they persisted even as I entered my room. My room was more like a backstage theater than a bedroom, and it had once brought me joy. However, now it only brought emptiness and fear. The room seemed to taunt me with its pranks, making me trip and shapeshifting into my fears. Even the bathroom made me feel bad about myself. I couldn't escape these thoughts, and they consumed me, causing me to cry myself to sleep.

I knew I couldn't continue down this path. I had to be a good example to the little kids. The thought of people looking up to me or praising me made me laugh. It seemed like everyone else got that, but not me. However, instead of wallowing in sadness, I got up, determined to make a change. I was quickly pulled back down by the weight of nothing. Despite Camilo's best efforts, he found himself in a state of disbelief as he realized that his attempts to seek help had been in vain. His voice failed him as he attempted to shout for assistance, leaving him feeling helpless and alone. In a desperate attempt to reach out to his friend Meto, he reached for his phone, only to be met with a hurtful message that left him reeling. Camilo's anxiety began to escalate as he struggled to come to terms with the possibility that his friendship with Meto may not be as strong as he had originally thought. As he imagined the worst-case scenario, his physical reaction was severe, and he found himself struggling to catch his breath and control his rapidly increasing heart rate. Suddenly, Meto appeared, but instead of offering comfort or aid, he began to mock Camilo, leaving him feeling even more powerless and vulnerable. As the situation escalated, Camilo's own family began to join in on the criticism, leaving him feeling completely alone and unsure of how to move forward.

"Stop it please, Stop."

Camilo attempted to speak after being unable to hear for so long, but his voice sounded somewhat annoying. He sighed to himself, realizing that Meto and his supposed "Famila" were not present. Suddenly, Camilo noticed a mirror that had not been there before and watched in horror as his face began to melt like dripping lava. He looked around and saw that everything, including himself, was starting to melt. Although he wanted to scream, no sound came out of his mouth, just like before. Camilo hadn't been able to confess his love for Meto, and the thought of it made him feel stressed and overwhelmed. His breathing became heavier, and his head pounded as his heart felt like it might burst out of his chest at any moment.

Camilo opened his eyes abruptly, feeling a sudden jolt of anxiety. He gasped for air, feeling disoriented and confused. The pitch-black darkness outside his window provided no comfort, but he could still make out a few twinkling stars in the sky. His mind immediately went to his camera, which he kept in his prop room. He rushed to grab it, determined to capture the breathtaking view of the night sky.

Standing by his window, Camilo was mesmerized by the beauty before him. The stars seemed to dance and twinkle, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. It was in this moment of awe that he heard a voice behind him. He turned to see Meto, a handsome boy he knew from school. Camilo was so startled that he accidentally dropped his camera, almost hitting Meto in the process. Feeling embarrassed and blushing, Camilo couldn't believe he was face-to-face with his crush. They exchanged some playful banter, but Camilo couldn't shake the feeling that he was rebelling against his parents by sneaking out with a boy. Despite his worries, he assured Meto that he was fine and ready for their adventure. With his camera in hand, Camilo was ready to explore the world outside his window and create new memories with his crush.

As Camilo swung from the vine, lost in thought, he accidentally let go and began to plummet toward the ground. Fortunately, Meto was quick to react and caught him, gently placing him back on solid ground. Concerned for Camilo's well-being, down to the ground.

"Camilo, are you sure we don't have to do this if you don't want to?"

"Sorry, I was lost in thought let's get going."

As Camilo inspected his camera, his heart sank as he realized that it had been damaged. The weight of the situation hit him hard, and he couldn't hold back his emotions any longer. He felt a lump form in his throat and his eyes began to well up with tears. His crush happened to be there, and he couldn't help but feel embarrassed to be seen like this in front of someone he found so attractive. Meto had witnessed the entire emotional scene unfold.

"I'll buy you a new one."

"You don't have to."

"But I want to."

Overwhelmed with emotion, Camilo's heart raced as he looked into Meto's eyes. He realized at that moment how much he cared for Meto. He couldn't help but blush when Meto wrapped his arms around Camilo and pulled him in for a tender embrace. They held each other for what felt like an eternity, lost in the warmth and comfort of their love. Despite experiencing a range of intense emotions, Camilo was grateful to be spending time with such a kind, understanding, and loving person.

"You ready to start this very epic hang out?"

"Yes, I'm ready"

I felt happy and sad for once.
