Hot Girl Shit (Traumatized because we were a tree and stranded at sea)

The ride back was awkward. Neither of us wanted to say anything so it was just quiet.

Also, flying on a pegasus fucking sucks. For one it is so windy. Another thing is how uncomfortable sitting on just the horses back is. My ass hurts so bad from the stupid turbulence.

At one point my hair was completely in my face so I went to go take my hand off to fix it but Percy grabbed it and yelled back at me, "Hold on."

I ripped both of my hands off in spite of him, which probably wasn't the best idea because I nearly fell off and had to grab him quickly to stop myself. I felt his laughter throughout his whole body so I pinched his side to get him to stop. It worked the third time I pinched him, don't worry.

When we finally arrived at camp there way no one around. We flew over the volleyball court, a climbing wall with lava, and all around without one camper in sight.

"Huh," Percy said, landing in the stables. "In you go, Buddy." The pegasus went into the stables, gratefully taking a sugar cube that Percy offered him.

"You should have told me that camp was like this. I would have been more inclined to join you on this little trip." He looks around some more, a frown on his face.

"That's what's worrying me, it shouldn't look like this."

We walked around, looking for any sign of campers around, but were unable to find any. Percy looked on the brink of crying when a little boy with blond hair came running towards us.

"PERCY! PERCY!" he was yelling. "Oh thank gods you're finally here! No one knew where you went last night." The boy turned towards me. "Who are you?"

"Emelia Ford," I replied. The boy looked between Percy and me before shooting Percy a smirk.

"Nice to meet you, Emelia. I wish we had a bit more time, but we have to get to Thalia's tree." He turned and began jogging back to where he came from.

"I totally forgot about the tree," I grumbled. "Did you guys not get the fleece back in time?"

"No, we did. I don't really know what this is about." His eyebrows furrowed.

When we made one last turn we could see a whole crowd of kids, all wearing bright orange shirts, gathered around a large tree.

Percy grabbed my hand and led us through the crowd of campers. I said sorry as many times as I could to make up for Percy's lack thereof.

Once we made it through the crowd I saw Annabeth kneeling on the ground, holding onto a girl's hand who was lying on the ground motionless.

"Is she dead?" I asked, looking at how pale the girl was, though something told me she was alive.

"Quite the opposite," a centaur replied, walking up next to me. "It seems that the fleece had done its job too well. The fleece not only healed the tree of its poison, but it also healed . . . someone else."

"Thalia," Percy said breathlessly. "That's Thalia Grace." The centaur nodded his head. Percy walked over to the unconscious girl and knelt next to Annabeth, wrapping an arm around the crying girl.

"I was just sitting here and I looked down and saw a hand coming out of the base of the tree. That's when I IM'd you." Annabeth took a shaky breath, looking down at the girl before looking back up at me. I gave her a smile that told her I was alright and that everything would be as well. Maybe.

A sudden gasp is what brought all of our attention back to the girl whose eyes shot open. She went to sit up but Annabeth placed a hand on her shoulder, holding her down.
