We gotta get away from here

I packed everything I could before dinner so I could sneak out while everyone was busy. The extra clothes I got from the store, a toothbrush and hair brush, and my bracelet clipped on.

I thought about saying goodbye to Annabeth, Grover, Thalia, and Percy, but what would be the point. I just met Thalia, Annabeth and Grover would just try to convince me to stay, and Percy would say something stupid that would make me punch him.

So, instead I am just going to drop off Percy's clothes in his cabin while he is at dinner then leave as quietly as I can. I think I am going to give shadow travel, the name I gave it because it has a nice ring to it, another shot.

I looked at the pavilion where everyone was eating. They all looked happy. Thalia told me they all had to sit at assigned tables, but Chiron gave her the go ahead for the night to sit wherever she wanted. She also told me there was no Hades table. Surprise, surprise, just another example of why I don't belong here.

When I got to cabin 3, I looked up at the trident about the door, muttering a quick, "fuck you" before walking in. I told myself I would be fast, drop the clothes, and get out, but the pictures on the wall stopped me.

His entire wall is covered in pictures of the camp, Annabeth, Grover, hell even Clarisse is on there. This is his family. This is all of their family. Even the ones they don't like, are family, blood or not.

I sighed and walked out of the cabin. I could feel the tears streaming down my face for the like seventeenth time in the last week. Maybe I am crazy.

And it was just like the universe wanted to taunt me some more because everyone was under the pavilion singing a song.

"Just stop your crying it's a sign of the times!" they screamed while someone was playing the guitar. "We gotta get away from here!"

And that we do.

A/N y'all. My fucking wattpad fanfic is longer than the actual book I am writing. This close to deleting it all.
