"I'm a shadow, a mere shadow," Wei Wuxian said as he stared at Lan Wangji's back disappearing in his sight. It's been a month ever since that night.

Rainy, cloudy, no light, darkness, day and night, ever since Lan Wangji left, maybe his existence itself disappeared. It was that moment he allowed him to go another and leave him behind.

"Lan Zhan..." Wei Wuxian called, "next Sunday... Will you spare ma a whole day?"

Lan Wangji glanced at Wei Wuxian. He saw how the latter slightly tremble with nervousness.

"Yes.." he replied, "what are we going?"

"A date..." Lan Wangji stared blankly for half an incense stick, "just you and me.."

The entire week goes on just like the same. Feng An being lovey-dovey with Lan Wangji but the other's expression shouts the same. The touchy scenes, the affectionate calls—all are being shamelessly displayed at sight, that Wei Wuxian could do nothing but smile.

Wei Wuxian kept his distance in check. Stealing glance after glance but it was all nothing but a glance.

He was sitting in a chair, where a lonely and depressed man should be. Deep dark atoms covered his skin making him feel, 'will this life end tonight, but it never seemed to be his last breath.' Windows standing in front of him opened to relieve him of any pain from breathing his jealousy. It smelled like a broken trust one he had never seen nor experienced.

The sky was so dimmed, that even the cloud seemed desperate like his heart, ready to drop and start the ensemble of life. All he could see, beyond the window, it's only an angel, an angel he ever dreamt of. The one he thought would stay, one he thought like a powerful drug that entangled himself to him. He could not hold him, he left swiftly and softly flitting away.

When he had come to the end of his journey, he traveled with his last weary smile, 'just forget if you can, that I never frowned and remembered only to smile.'

Softly placing his fingers on the keys. Wei Wuxian finally, finally decided.

'that is was only you whom I can never forget... Even though I am not here... Always... Forever...'

Dancing on the keys, he played—he played their song—their song for two.

"I will love you..."

Why does Lan Wangji come every day and make his heartbeat till death?

Why, are they are so far?

Why, being with that person made him feel, that he was always alone?

Why would he took another person's hand, when he was in blood and flash.

'how long do you want me to wait for again, Lan Zhan?'

Wei Wuxian asked these questions to himself every night. Every night we're still unanswered. He thought, maybe... Maybe he talked to himself, just like an abnormal man. Here he closes his eyes and this is what he sees a flashback of life;

A figure in the lone night of a ruin Chapelle, 13 years from now. The sweet voice, the warm smile, the hand the led him back to the way. The distance, the pain, the thirteen years of waiting for a single moment—a single year he only desires to have.

Every tear he dropped, felt like his heart stopped for a while. His dreams were all gone, he never got a chance to grow old and take his last breath seeing his face, he was all he had left in his life and now gone forever. The one and only man he desired to be with, to spend time with, to be happy, to smile, to laugh......
