In my sleepy state, I faintly hear the door to the bedroom open with a soft creak. I open my eyes and see the shadowy outline of my boyfriend. He changes out of his combat gear and instead puts on his pajamas. The bed dips when he lays down.
"Hey~" I whisper.
"Hey~" he whispers back. "Sorry to wake you." I shake my head.
"It's okay, I was really only half asleep," I say, moving closer to him. "How was your day?" He hums, wrapping his arms around me.
"My day? It was good. It's much better now that I'm here with you, though." I smile, snuggling into his chest. "How was your day?"
"Mm, it was good. Tiring, but good."
"I'm glad it was good. I'm sorry again for waking you up." "It's really okay, I don't mind~" He rests his head on mine and holds me close. I yawn.
"Let's go to sleep, okay?" I nod.
"Okay. Goodnight, Luc, I love you~💖" I whisper.
"Goodnight, Darling, I love you too~💖" he whispers back.
