Night time finally rolled around, as thunder clouds swarmed the sky. The Host Club has settled in the villa or mansion as Emily thought as the walls and ceilings were high and wide. It was a beautiful home, but the mood around it spoiled the atmosphere.

When it was time for dinner, the girls were getting ready. Emily just wanted to change out of her clothes into something comfy like a hoodie. It had been a tiring evening and all she wanted to do was eat. Even if she was there.

When she stepped inside her room, she was surprised to see Karlie there, sitting on her own bed. She had her knees to her chest, hugging them tight. She didn't move her head up to see who entered the room, which made Emily sigh.

As Emily began to change, not one word was spoken. The silence was killing Emily inside, but she held her ground. As much as wanted to say her thoughts and then become all buddy buddy again, she didn't want to be the one to give in first.

"Are you...still mad at me?" the sudden voice of Karlie, made Emily jump. "W-What!...I'm just..."

"I'm sorry..." Emily's eyes widened.

This is what she wanted to hear. Her heart clenched, as she could hear her friend hiccups.

"I-I was going to a-apologize t-to everyone w-whole heartedly...but Tamaki said that thing a-about being a-a girl and I just-couldn't take it. I-I didn't mean to explode o-on him or a-any of you guys." She cried full on, as Emily made her way over to the bed.

She sat down, and knocked on the dirty blonde's head, getting her attention. Karlie lifted her head, as the tears rolled down her cheek. On her forehead, there was a red spot showing where Emily slammed her head in.

Emily sighed as she pulled Karlie into a hug, letting the poor girl let it all out. She was glad that she wasn't bottling up everything. 'Glad she's hugging me back...'

They sat there for a few minutes before letting go, and crashing down onto the soft mattress under them. They stared at the ceiling in mid thought.

"You know...I was so mad at you...but now that I've calmed down, I can say what I want to say...I was just worried, we all were." Karlie nodded, wiping away some of her tears.

"When you suddenly ran from Haruhi and I...I was so confused and scared. When we to the base and found those girls, they were telling us that you saved them and were confronting those goddamn idiots. I thought the worst so I ran for my life. I was...so worried they were going to do something to you." Emily wrapped an arm around Karlie's shoulders.

Karlie didn't say anything, feeling the guilty feeling pumping in her heart.

"And I'm not saying you're weak. Y-You just can't throw a punch for the life of ya! What you did was the right thing, but you also have to think about yourself!"

"I-I...know." Emily let go, and turned her body, laying on her cheek against the pillow.

"I just care for you man. We all do. I know Tamaki said something very very stupid, but he does really care for you Karlie. Him and the rest of the Host Club." Karlie's cheeks turned pink, as she stared into Emily's eyes.

"I know...and I'm sorry for scaring you. I just wanted to help them out." Emily sighed.

"Yeah I know...I swear you're like Deku with your huge ass hero complex. I don't know where it comes from." Karlie swallowed the dread down her throat.

"I...have a feeling I know where it comes from." Emily's attention perked up.

"Do you remember when we first met and how I was getting bullied by that kid?" Emily nodded. She remembered it when it was first brought up that morning before they met Renge.
