Episode 10

"Pallu, are you interested in your studies or not?" asked Rohan.

"I am dad, I am going to the college regularly," said Pallavi.

"I received a call from your college today, but their version seems different, they are saying that you are not attending classes," said Rohan.

"They are lying," said Pallavi and started to leave.

"Do you even know that your stupid brother got married and brought one girl home two days ago?" asked Rohan and Pallavi looked at him in shock and turned towards Karthik.

"You are not at home or college? Where are you going?" asked Rohan.

"Dad, I am busy with something else," said Pallavi.

"I told you many times, you can pursue bachelors in arts," said Rohan.

"For your wife I thought of doing this course, we are ignored because she has been bed ridden since she slipped into a coma," said Pallavi.

"I don't need any junior doctor to treat my wife and for your kind information my wife has gained consciousness two weeks ago and is feeling a lot better now and yesterday for the first time after a long time she spoke to me as well," said Rohan and Pallavi looked at him in shock.

"One already spoiled our lives, please you don't make our lives worse," said Karthik and left from there and tears rolled down Pallavi's eyes.

"Pallavi, I want you to meet one guy, he is a very nice person, he came to my office for some signatures, we had a small talk and he said he wants to become our family member by marrying you, he is an orphan," said Rohan and Pallavi widened her eyes in disbelief.

"I am not going to force you to marry him, it's a promise, he will be coming tomorrow evening to meet you, please be at home," requested Rohan.

"Okay, I will not go to the college tomorrow and spend some time with mom, so that she won't feel alone," said Pallavi and walked towards her room.

The next day, after Rohan left for the office, Pallavi slowly walked into his room and saw Kavya was sitting at the window and looking outside.

"Mom," said Pallavi, going and standing beside her. Kavya turned and smiled looking at her and said, "dad told me that one guy is coming to meet you, he also said that he is a very nice guy."

"I am just 18 mom," said Pallavi.

"He promised your dad that he will help you in your studies," said Kavya.

"It seems as though you both had a long talk about that nice guy," said Pallavi smiling.

"It's about your future Pallu, he is worried about your future, he is scared that if Pavi returns, no one will marry you," said Kavya.

"It is again related to Pavi, she spoiled our lives, still she will dare to return to spoil my life again," thought Pallavi.

"Drape a saree, you will look good," said Kavya.

"I don't know how to drape a saree," said Pallavi.

"Don't worry, in the afternoon I will make you ready," said Kavya, kissing Pallavi's hand.

"Mom, can't we postpone it for some days?" asked Pallavi.

"You idiot, you are just going to meet him, you can take how much time you want, we are not in a hurry to send you away," said Kavya, smiling.

Pallavi nodded her head as okay and opened the cupboard and looked at her belongings confused and then realized that she thought of taking this room and dumped all her belongings in this cupboard, but after Rohan requested that he wants this room as it is closer to the main door, she shifted to the corner room leaving everything there only.
