"It has been one week, why isn't she opening her eyes?" asked Devjit.
"It will take time, the arrows had poison and it pinched her nerve as well," said the doctor.
Virender came and stood behind Devjit and said, "as you said she is stronger than anyone can imagine, she is doing good, soon she will be ready to throw her tantrums at me."
"She never threw tantrums, she is very understanding," said Devjit pouting.
"Oh, I forgot, she is very understanding, that is why she pulled those stunts of blaming me in front of my head warrior," said Virender, walking towards Ishika and sitting beside her and started caressing her hair.
"She was just pissed off, you know she never behaved that way, I don't know what happened to her, why she behaved like that," said Devjit.
"Because she was confused, she didn't understand how to deal with the situation, she was not able to come near you to discuss her turmoil," said Virender, holding her hand and giving it a light squeeze.
"Will you marry her?" asked Devjit.
"Yes, as soon as she opens her eyes, but I will not make it official till we get settled, but you don't have to worry that I will leave her half way," said Virender and saw Ishika was trying to move her finger.
"I know you won't," said Devjit smiling.
"Came to know your brothers held a meeting yesterday," said Virender.
"I know what happened in that meeting as well, don't worry Veer, I will handle this," said Devjit.
"Yeah, like we are here handling her work as well leaving our work behind and she is sleeping here peacefully, I am going to close that school before it starts," said Virender, winking at Devjit.
"You can't do that, it is her dream project," said Devjit.
"Then she should be there to take care of that, she didn't even invite the guests, so there won't be any inauguration," said Virender.
"We will invite, I will take care of everything," said Devjit.
"It is her work and if she won't wake up in two days, I will take my people and go away from here. I can't wait for her for a long time, they want one queen, and they have already chosen someone and I have to get married to her," said Virender.
"You just said you will marry her," said Devjit.
"But, I don't see any hope of her waking up so soon," said Virender, winking, and left from there.
Devjit went near Ishika and said, "idiot, he is leaving, you only can stop him, open your eyes," while caressing her hair.
"He is lying," mumbled Ishika and Devjit looked at her with wide eyes and smiled and kissed her crown.
"Send him in, he needs to fulfill his promise," said Ishika and Devjit started laughing and said, "I should call the doctor to check, not Veer to fulfill his promise," and called the doctor and Ishika pouted.
The doctor came and checked Ishika and said, "did a great job, I thought you will take more time to open your eyes, your wounds have still not healed, don't put pressure on them and take rest at least for a month."
"How many days have I been unconscious?" asked Ishika.
"Just one week," said Devjit.
"How is that boy doing? I saw him getting hurt, I saw a lot of blood," said Ishika.
"Yes, he was severely injured, he is Virender's head warrior's son, he is getting treated," said Devjit.
"He is just 16, he should not have been on the battlefield," said Ishika.
