Just to torture her, Karthik used to play that video again and again and whenever she started to cry out loud, the neighbors used to come to console her.

After three days, when Karthik saw Aarthi was busy with her mobile, he said, "your brother is at the gate, he is not coming inside, I pleaded him to come inside, but he is adamant," and Aarthi looked at him confused and asked, "my brother?" and he nodded his head as yes and said, "he is drenched in blood," and Aarthi ran outside crying and started calling Sachit's name.

"Aarthi, come inside, your brother died, he can't come to meet you," shouted Karthik from behind, but she didn't stop and ran towards the gate.

"Hey Karthik, take her to the hospital, she needs help, you can't leave her like that," suggested neighbors.

"She is not listening, we are trying hard," said Karthik, holding Aarthi and walking towards the door.

"I know one doctor, who does house visits, I can call him," suggested one neighbor.

"Surely, take an appointment for tomorrow," said Karthik, locking the door from inside.

Aarthi cried for a long time and slept and Kavya came near Karthik and asked, "what game are you playing?"

"Mom, you don't know how much we suffered, we were watched, followed and no one believed that we were not involved in their death, now I don't want anyone to believe her, anyway we are going to shift next week, there no one knows about her, I just want to get rid of her," said Karthik.

"Are you planning to kill her?" asked Kavya.

"His ashes are arriving in the afternoon, let her do whatever she wants with them," said Karthik.

"Karthik, I am sorry, I know I was not there for you when you might have needed me the most, but I promise I will support you in every walk of your life and in your every plan, I am never going to judge you for your decisions," said Kavya.

"Is Abhay coming home?" asked Kavya and Karthik nodded his head as no while looking at his messages.

"What is Isha saying?" asked Kavya again.

"To move forward with my plan," said Karthik and Kavya furrowed her brows.

"Tomorrow," said Karthik smiling.

"Are we part of your plan?" asked Kavya.

"Mom, not now, I have some work to take care of," said Karthik walking outside.

In the afternoon after Aarthi woke up, Karthik came inside and said, "they brought your brother's ashes, they need your signature."

"My brother came in the morning to meet me, how can they bring his ashes?" asked Aarthi.

"Aarthi, they can't wait for you for a long time, just sign the papers and they will go," said Karthik.

Aarthi came out of the room and saw two people standing at the main door and pushed them out and shouted, "my brother is still alive, you should leave now."

"Aarthi, your brother is dead, do you want to see that video again?" asked Karthik near her ear and tears rolled down her eyes. She took the ashes pot from the man and threw it on the ground and said, "these are not my brother's ashes and he is not dead," and ran inside.

"Karthik, we should not insult someone's ashes like these," said Kavya.

"They are not his ashes, Abhay asked his people to take care of them as he was not sure how she is going to react, I just thought of creating a scene in front of our neighbors," said Karthik.
