Pallavi looked at the belongings once again and started to arrange them one by one in the cupboard and took one book and was about to read it, she heard a knock on the door and put the book inside and walked towards the door.
"Why is your mobile switched off?" shouted Karthik.
"My charger is not working, I will charge it in the morning with dad's charger," lied Pallavi.
"Okay, I will inform dad the same," said Karthik and left from there.
"I have to get rid of him and I have to make sure that he deletes that photo," thought Pallavi, closing the door and lying on the bed.
In the morning, after breakfast Kavya was thinking about something and Rohan looked at her confused and asked, "what is bothering you? What have you been thinking since last night?"
"Nothing, just about Pallavi, what if he wants to get married soon?" asked Kavya.
"Mom, don't think about it that much," said Pallavi and thought, "I am going to break your hearts by revealing his true identity and throwing him out of this house."
"I am feeling sleepy, I think we need to discuss this with the doctor, I can't waste this much time sleeping when our son-in-law is willing to spend more time with us, Aarti please take care of the lunch," said Kavya and Rohan took her to their room.
"Did you charge your mobile? Otherwise, he is going to start disturbing dad again," said Karthik, taking his wallet and walking outside.
"Karthik was saying your charger was not working, if you want, you can use mine," said Aarthi.
"It's working now, yesterday, I think I didn't plug it properly," said Pallavi, walking towards her room.
As soon as she switched on her mobile, she received a call from Sarang. "You bitch, why did you switch off your mobile, I am going to be there in one hour, get yourself ready, we need to talk, wear a green saree, don't dare to go against me," said Sarang and disconnected the call.
"What the fuck does he think of himself, what if I won't listen to him?" thought Pallavi, throwing the mobile on the bed.
After some time Rohan shouted from outside, "Pallavi, Sarang just called me saying that he will be here in one hour, your mother is panicking, come out," and she opened the door and walked towards his room, ignoring him.
"Do you have any idea, how irked he was, but still he was trying to talk to me normally, why was your mobile switched off yesterday night?" asked Rohan, following her.
"Dad, I forgot to charge it, it's not like I was ignoring him," replied Pallavi, entering the room.
"Hey Pallavi, he asked me to help you drape the green saree, see I have arranged everything, hopefully I didn't miss anything, you should look gorgeous today," said Kavya.
"Mom, engagement is in the evening and why are you panicking, it's just a ring exchange ceremony, not my marriage today," said Pallavi, looking at the clothes arranged by Kavya.
"Okay, you get ready, till then, I will see if the cook needs any help," said Rohan, coming out of the room.
"Mom, we need to talk," said Pallavi.
"We don't have time, we can do that in the evening after he left, you start getting ready, he will be here at any moment, you already pissed him off very badly," said Kavya and Pallavi rolled her eyes and started getting ready.
After one hour, Sarang stood in front of their door and Rohan invited him inside, while his eyes were on Pallavi.
"I am really sorry on behalf of her," said Kavya.
