Rukmini was standing in the garden and staring at the tree, when Saanjh came and hugged her from behind.
"I missed your hug Saanjh, it has been a long time, can we start everything from the beginning?" asked Rukmini.
"I am leaving tonight and may not return," said Saanjh and Rukmini freed herself and turned towards her and said, "Abhay will never allow you to do that."
"He doesn't have a choice Mini, I have cancer, I am going for treatment, but there is no hope," said Saanjh and Rukmini's eyes welled up with tears.
"Why did you hide?" asked Rukmini, hugging her tightly.
"I was never into this marriage, it was just a contract marriage for me to not shed more blood, then uncle told me you are here, so I came here with him to see you, but I was so lucky that he gave me so much, he made me forget my past, he brought me closer to my friend, he gave me so many good memories," said Saanjh, caressing Rukmin's hair.
"We will come with you," said Rukmini, breaking the hug.
"Uncle wants to be with me, he always treated me as his daughter, now also he wants to be with his daughter, to take good care of her," said Saanjh.
"Saanjh, allow us to be with you, you will feel better, we will also take good care of you," pleaded Rukmini.
"Abhay has many bad habits, he mourns alone, don't leave him alone, you are his better half, take good care of him, this is why they got you married to him," said Saanjh, wiping off Rukmini's tears.
"Please Saanjh, we both need you, you only can take good care of him, he loves you more than me, he can't live without you," said Rukmini.
"Yes he loves me more than you, but to be frank, on that day nothing happened between us, I asked him to pretend and he just pretended and I was enjoying your expressions, that one day was the best day of my life, you were fussy all day, you were making mistakes like my small Mini," said Saanjh.
"I hate you," said Rukmini.
"I am going to miss you Mini, take care of Abhay, never leave his hand, and by if any chance I will be alive after the treatment, I will definitely return to torture you," said Saanjh and Rukmini nodded her head as okay and hugged her again and said, "I will pray for you."
"I want to die peacefully without any pain, pray for my death if you can," said Saanjh, walking away from there.
"I never cursed you Saanjh, then how can life be so cruel to you? What wrong did you do to deserve this punishment?" thought Rukmini and felt a hand on her waist and rested her head on his shoulder.
"I will try my best to save her, I will go to any extent, we will bring her back here," said Abhay.
"Leave her Abhay, she is right, let her die peacefully, don't torture her with all those drugs and needles, this is what we can give her at this time, peaceful death," said Rukmini.
"How can you say that?" asked Abhay.
"You can't go against destiny, if she would have not come to meet me on that day things would have been different, I would have been in her place and Abhay would have never been in our lives," said Rukmini, hugging him, and started crying.
Haider was talking to Karthik when Hina came there and stood in front of Haider and both looked at her confused.
"Hina, he can't help you in any way, it was your decision to destroy your life, don't expect help from others," said Karthik.
"Yes, it was my decision, he promised me that he will keep me happy, he promised that he will fulfill my dream," said Hina.
"Your dream was to work as a teacher in our school," said Haider.
