"They killed my parents in front of my eyes, I tried to protest and they injured me and ran away," said the boy.
"Wait, I will return," said Abhay, running outside. He laid Virika in the back seat and returned and helped the boy to the car and made him sit in the back seat and dialed Haider's number and said, "they killed mom and dad, I am taking Virika to the hospital."
Isha called and Abhay answered the call and cried, "we lost them Isha, we lost our parents again."
"Bro, send me your location, I will come there," said Isha.
"I am going to the hospital, Virika is severely injured and unconscious," said Abhay.
"As soon as you admit her in the hospital, send me the location," said Isha and disconnected the call.
"Are you still going to stay here only?" asked the neighbor.
"I don't know, I will inform you in one week," said Dheer, walking inside.
"Inform us beforehand, so we don't lose our rent, you know we are dependent on the rent," said the neighbor.
"Surely," said Dheer, closing the door and walking inside.
He went and stood in front of Sarla's photo and remembered her words.
"Dheer, never develop hatred towards them, they need your mom more than you," said Sarla.
"What about me granny, I need my mom," said Dheer.
"I am there for you," said Sarla.
"No, I want my mom to be with me," shouted Dheer.
"I want you, don't you want to stay with your granny?" asked Sarla.
"Granny, I want mom, but I want you as well," said Dheer, laying head on her thigh and closing his eyes.
"Dheer, someone sent a birthday gift for you," said Sarla and Dheer looked at it for some time and threw it on the floor and ran away from there.
Dheer was standing at the reception and looking at the medical bill when one man came and asked, "how is she now?"
"Who are you?" asked Dheer.
"I came here to clear medical bills and this money is for her medicines, and if you need any more help, you can call this number, my name is Tanuj," said Tanuj, handing him the visiting card.
"I don't need your help, I can take care of my granny," said Dheer and Tanuj started laughing and said, "I came to know you are doing good at the training, what are your future plans? If you are planning to join any defense academy, do let us know," and left from there and Dheer looked at his back confused.
"Granny, who is paying for my education and books? Where are we getting money from when you stopped working long ago?" asked Dheer.
"They are paying for your mother's sacrifice, your mother didn't chOose them, she chose you over them, she knew that if she would have come with us you would have not been able to study in that school or fulfill your dreams," said Sarla and Dheer looked at her in shock and asked, "what if they are ill-treating her and she has been suffering there?"
"They will never do that," said Sarla.
"I don't believe you, but still I will wait till my training is complete," said Dheer.
Dheer smiled remembering their conversation and thought, "I am going granny, if my mom is suffering there, she will be here by tomorrow, if they are taking good care of her, I will become their slave," and walked out of the house and walked towards the two wheeler and remembered that it was his recent birthday gift from Isha.
